Thanks for sharing. I'm T12 incomplete SCI. I stared with full leg braces just like the ones you have. Over time I regained more movement and strength in my legs and was able to reduce my braces down to Ankle foot. Also I use my spasticity at time to help me stand/walk. Great demo!
Thanks for the excellent demonstration. I always wondered how President F. D. Roosevelt put on his leg braces. He often used his 6ft 5in son as a strongarm and a cane or handrail to imitate walking step by step. He had incomplete lower paralysis and was not strong enough to stand or walk without leg braces and an escort.
How are you moving your legs when you go backwards! I totally want to try this rtnow, today!🏋️♀️🏃♀️🚶♀️👩🦽... I'm going to show this video to my therapist on Monday morning to see if they ask my doc to prescribe these for me to try. Everything to gain and nothin to lose in askin right!💯🌟 I do feel it be safer to have someone supervising and standing on the side holding my gate belt and w/their one foot wrapped around front tire of walker so I don't go plunging forward. Thank You for these videos that help get us closer to being independent and stronger in doing all we can for ourselves!💪🌟💯 Yay!..

Hello, I am from Costa Rica, I have muscular dystrophy in my legs and it is difficult for me to walk, my doctor told me that he was going to send me some orthopedic devices, he already took my measurements. Are those that you use in video, is it difficult to adapt? But he told me to think about using a wheelchair, because every day I lost movement and sensitivity in my legs. I'm a little sad.
Sadly I have to walk one leg at a time having worn braces since the age of 5 My arms are not strong enough to manage for more than a few steps but when I do when I land on the floor with my legs it hurts my spine Great vid Thanks
Did you have to pay for the knee brace out of your own pocket? Or did you get it for free from the insurance? My insurance won’t cover this for me, can you tell me how much this knee brace cost?
From my experience I bought training shoes that were a size bigger than normal unfortunately 3 weeks after I got braces I fell backwards and shattered my spine I'm now completely paralysed.if your feet/toes are deformed in any way specialist shoes can be made

What’s your SCI level? Do you have sensation and if not, are you worried about pressure sores?
