Busy streets, a port, cars stuck in traffic with rain. Something expected, but natural... Unforeseen mixed with nature... Fall season beginning.

The lyrcis have meaning. They are written in Breton, it's a celtic language spoken in Brittany, France. This language is classified as "severely endangered" by the UNESCO because it has drastically decline. In 1950 there was about 1 million breton speaker werheas today they're only 200,000. Yann Tiersen regularly puts breton in his song because he is from brittany. The title of the album "Eusa" is the name in breton of the island where he lives. This island is situated in the extrem West of Brittany and is called Ouessant in french or Ushant in English. All the titles from the album are also in Breton. And Yann Tiersen is also a breton speaker. He has learned the language and speaks it regularly with his wife (who by the way is also musician and who is the person talking in this song).

      It's poetry by Angela Duval.
      Selaou kentoc’h a ran
      An traoù eget an dud
      Trouz an tan o c’hwezhañ
      Ar c’harz o tifronkañ
      Dindan an avel yud
      Dour ar stêr o ruilhal
      Hag ar skuz o krozal
      A-dreuz o boud, me ’glev
      O tont ’vel un heklev
      Eus don ar C’hantvedoù
      Mouezioù va Hendadoù

      Listen rather do
The things that people by Noise the fire blowing
      The hedge of o tifronkañ
Under the treacherous wind the water of the river rolling And the lock of o krozal Crooked o serious,
I hear coming like an echo
      Deep the Centuries
