Miss my Gill netting days. We would have a very smooth, waist high table behind the hauler, 2 crew at the end, sometimes a picker in the middle, pulling, picking the fish and trash and spreading the net in the stern. As soon as the net was all hauled in, usually 8-12 x 300 foot nets in a string, then the Captain would be all ready to set out again as soon as he got back over the fishing bottom. While he was setting the net, and sailing to the next string, we would be cutting and icing the fish.
