  • Pastor Paul LeBoutillier and his wife, Sue, answer your Bible questions.
    Questions:
    0:54
    My question is regarding Romans 14:22. I’m confused about what this verse means.
    3:27
    Who are considered "Evangelical Christians"?
    You said evangelical Christians are the best friend of Israel. I am not sure I understand this; could you please explain?
    5:14
    Do we know when and how the instruction of one man and one woman became the law of the land?
    6:59
    Why did the people turn on Jesus at the end? He seemed so popular just days before?
    8:01
    Other then Mary Magdalene, were there any other women?
    8:39
    Where does the Bible state (or does it state it at all) that Jesus went to Hades (or hell) after he died and before he was resurrected?
    13:52
    Since a woman is not to have authority over a man in regard to teaching, does that same prohibition extend to social media or writing books?
    15:48
    How does this sin enter a person’s life and can someone fully overcome same sex attraction? Can there really be healing and deliverance for such a sin?
    20:16
    Since those who put their faith in Jesus are referred to as descendants/sons of Abraham (Galatians 3:7, Luke 19:9), how then do we know that there still remains a separation between Israel and the church?
    22:55
    Many people seem to be convinced that self-inflicted death is also unpardonable. I wanted to know your thoughts on this subject.
    24:52
    What is the biblical, spiritual Inheritance for every believer?
    27:02
    What does an Apostle do in 2024?
    28:49
    Do prophets and apostles exist today?
    29:59
    “Thou shalt not kill”
    31:58
    Why do some people use the title “Holy Ghost” and others say “Holy Spirit”? Are both correct?
    32:51
    If the Trinity is a belief expressed in the Bible, why do most Christian’s believe otherwise?
    34:39
    Why do you suppose the Ark of the Covenant has never been found?
    35:51
    In Daniel 10:21 the angel refers to “the writing of truth”? Is this somewhere in the Bible?
    37:23
    Hebrews 4:8 says “For if Joshua had given them rest He would not have spoken of another day after that.” …where will I find Joshua speaking of another day?
    38:26
    Why did Jesus refer to Jonah saying “For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”? Why Jonah? What is the connection?
    40:11
    Is Satan cast down to earth already, or when Michael arises, commencing the great tribulation?
    30:34
    "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it"
    43:15
    Just wondering if the Bible gives us any instruction or guidance on where to give (ie our church in the first instance, then other ministries) or is it to be entirely Spirit led?
    45:54
    They believe that in biblical times, couples living together were considered husband and wife even before formal marriage. What is your view?
    47:26
    Is the "Law of First Mentions" an accurate tool to use in interpreting Scripture?

    Pastor , I trust the gospel you minister and I’m curious to know why the hesitancy to speak to the fallacy of faith universally ordained by God. Mankind instituted the word “races” and church supports this reference although it denotes divisions. Christ Jesus never avoided de-flowering this plant, having become a tree, and scripture speaks to it as an abomination in Galatians, Timothy, Revelations

      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier Місяць тому +1

      We DO get into triple digits during the summer. You have to remember, Oregon has a mountain range that runs right down the middle of the state. It's called the Cascade Mountains. On the west side of that range Oregon is lush and green. On the east side of those mountains (where we live) it is HOT and BROWN. We are actually classified as "high desert." I know that's not what people think about when they hear about "Oregon."

    I have a kind of complex question it's a two parts...
    ... First what happened to believers in the Messiah, and everyone under God in the old testament after death? because Jesus hadn't died yet.
    Second, what happened to all the people that were gentiles or who weren't Hebrew, and also what happened to people before Moses that were not Jews? Basically what happened to everyone after Adam, and Noah, when they died.

    I really take issue with the whole "women not having authority over men" thing and I've written in about it before ONLY for the fact that where the bible lists the gifts of the Holy Spirit, it DOES NOT say that the gift of pastor/teacher is limited to men. I think it's very selfish and ignorant to assume women can't teach men, and even more so to assume that God won't use a woman to fulfill His will. He can and will use whomever HE wants to to get the message across and the will fulfilled.

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier
      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier Місяць тому +3

      I respect your position Larissa, but you can't simply dismiss the Apostle Paul's statement in 1 Timothy 2 :12 just because you don't happen to like it. How many other statements might you be tempted to dismiss because they don't line up with your personal thoughts or feelings? I understand that what the Bible reveals is an unpalatable position, especially in our modern liberated culture, but it's important to understand the REASONS behind it. It's not about limiting women or keeping them from becoming whatever God made them to be. Not having women exercise authority over men has powerful and far-reaching implications affecting the family unit that God created and the ORDER that He set in place as outlined in Ephesians chapter 5. If we ignore 1 Timothy 2:12, the essence of the order of the family as described in Ephesians 5 literally falls apart.

    Hey guys!
    I have a question that came into my head!
    How does Jesus feel about the fact that the nations mix with each other? In other words, that inlanders mate with foreigners.
    Somewhere I heard that God is a God of right and order.
    I asked myself how exactly God sees this.
    On the one hand, the order is somehow gone, on the other hand, God also created us in such a way that you can fall in love with a foreigner (I can't confirm, because that's never happened to me) By being in love I mean being in love here and not having a crush on someone, because you find many attributes in the person totally great!
    Do you understand me?
    Did God create different peoples that are different from each other so that they all mix in the end?
    What is your opinion on this? :)

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier
      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier Місяць тому

      Remember, opinions don't matter. All that matters is the truth and find that in the Bible. The Bible contains NO PROHIBITIONS on people of different cultures and races mixing in marriage. God forbade the people of Israel from intermarrying with their neighbors ONLY because of the danger of paganism getting mixed in with the worship of the One True God. And, as Christians, we are told not to marry "unbelievers" for the same reason. So, the prohibitions regarding interracial marriages were ALL about FAITH and DEVOTION rather than race and culture.

    • @sunnyjohnson992
      @sunnyjohnson992 Місяць тому

      The Bible clearly tells us the answer at Acts 10:34 that “God is not partial, but in every nation the man who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.” God does not judge us by our nationality, race, skin color or culture.
      Genesis 3:20 tells us that Eve would “become the mother of everyone living.” All races came from her so mixing races doesn’t matter.

No it says that the dead will rise first and then the church or the bride will rise however, how can the dead Christian vrise if they're dead doesn't that mean they're in hell?? So why arent they already in Heaven??? So how can they rise if theyre already there? Confused

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier
      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier Місяць тому +2

      Hi Linda. When a believer dies they instantly go to be with the Lord. At the resurrection ONLY THEIR BODY is raised. The spirit and soul cannot be raised because they cannot die. So, at the resurrection the believer receives a new incorruptible body. I hope that helps.

    Thank you so much for your Q&A, Hope you and Sue, family and church are all keeping well. Is fornication not sleeping around? Biblically, we are together in God, as one when we come together, legal marriage on earth is only for mans law, for legal purposes, laid out by the government. I see no biblical scripture to say that marriage should be done in a particular way. What GOD has joined together, let no man separate - Mark 10:9. Love your teachings btw, been with you since 2013 ish. God gave a picture of His covenant at sinai, but the covenant was between the people and God ❤

    • @PastorPaulLeBoutillier
      @PastorPaulLeBoutillier Місяць тому

      Fornication is defined as sexual relations outside of marriage.

    • @wideawake6501
      @wideawake6501 Місяць тому

      Indeed. I totally agree. That takes care of the fornication meaning. But, sexual relations outside of marriage still means - when God joins you together, you’re together as one, and outside of that union, its fornication. The new covenant church seems to be holding onto mans traditions just as much as the old covenant church but Im holding to Gods Word and Gods authority on this one. Getting LEGALLY married is a requirement under the law of the land, which we ARE required to do, (to obey Gods government), but when that government, even the church goes beyond what Gods Word says, i look to Gods sovereignty. There is nowhere in scripture God commands us to be married in a church building, with a Registered person to officiate the ceremony. There is a picture of a wedding though, and its our Father who chooses the Bride, but noone holds to that in the west anymore? All said with much love and respect truly❤. A traditional church wedding today is just that, a tradition, a lovely one, but a tradition, one of many that God is sovereign over and will allow because they dont matter. God wants our worship, in truth and in spirit, in our hearts and our obedience to Him alone. Its a very big grey area (the ceremony itself vs what Gods Word says about it, not the actual union).
      I am legally married, i surrendered to Christ later in my life and i now see Gods Word in its entirety and ive studied the bible alongside your teachings. God bless ❤
