@@YoChicago You guys need to fire whoever made these stupid childish replies back in addition to the cameraman and script readers and listen to the people commenting. These videos have views because the buildings and units within them are view-worthy thanks to their huge investors, not because of anything YoChicago did. Your production value is terrible and whoever made all these replies in the comments is an arrogant cock-wit.
The place just feels so cold and clinical. Cannot even imagine the heating bill for that place-Chicago in the winter with a wall full of windows. Yikes lol
Obviously for the well heeled. But why is the master bedroom so small. The other bedrooms way too tinny. The closets can hold Enormous amounts of crap. I’d rather have a big bedroom then all those giant closets and little teeny chopped up rooms. The bathrooms are beautiful and the views are spectacular. Its a beautiful apartment. If it’s facing the sun you’re gonna need some heavy duty curtains plus those blinds, staying cool in summer may be a serious issue. Blocking out all the views with drapes to stay cool, defeats the living style. The capacity of the air conditioning system(S) would need to be seriously commercial grade. My experience is that most condos do not fulfil this requirement. Resulting with one constantly hearing the sound of the wind and the machines running. Great effort must be taken to build an ac/heat system properly. No mention of heated marble floors in the bathrooms.
I never will understand people, business, agency or whatever name of it is that simple question they direct you to their website for simple answer when people ask how much is rent, or price!!! Too complicate for a simple question. If you ask me how much I paid for the car, I would tell ya straight, not direct you to www.dealership.com 😖😬 Apartment is nice btw. Not my taste of views, but showed space is nicely furnitured.
How is the energy bill in an apartment like this? Do the large windows required you to lower the AC or is it some type of specialized glass that regulates temperature?
It's been rented. Rents and availability info for the other units in the building can be found by going to the building website, which is linked in the description and is in the video.
Did not see any privacy screen for the bathrooms. Would hate to 'give a show' while answering a nature call. Otherwise a spectacular view where-ever you look!
1. These vids should include basic listing info like price and square footage. 2. Living space is nice but non-master bedrooms are NYC tiny. 3. So awkward that closets are outside the bedrooms for the smaller 2.
Price should NEVER be included because it changes - daily in some cases. You can find current pricing and square footage at the linked building website. Bedrooms are NOT NYC tiny, and closets are NOT outside of them.
YoChicago It is extremely unprofessional and inappropriate to respond with such vehemence to a potential client. If the closets are indeed not outside the bedroom then your virtual tour is as poorly crafted as your commentary. I can only hope the quality and professionalism of the craftsmen is better than that of the firm chosen to represent the space. Per the size of the bedrooms - looks like a recent buy in Brooklyn. NYC tiny.
You completely misunderstood what you saw in the video, and didn't hesitate to make a comment that might mislead people into not watching the video. You can't even accurately describe what anyone can plainly see - and you're calling me unprofessional?
YoChicago There was no misunderstanding. And if you had any confidence in the presentation to display something so "obvious" you wouldn't feel the need to respond so vehemently. What's obvious is that my comment must've critiqued something you didn't want highlighted. I'm done with what has been poor representation all around from YoChicago. Be well and get some rest in those NYC sized bedrooms.
They should have made bedrooms bigger and common area smaller. Ex. the second bedroom is tiny. For what I imagine the place costs who wants to deal with small rooms? Could have made common areas a little smaller here and there and nobody would have known.
How sad that they tapped into their vast experience, listened to renters, to architects, to designers, to savvy market researchers, etc, instead of relying on UA-cam commenters who may or may not have ever rented an apartment.
@@YoChicago LOL the second room was ridiculously small which is why they made it a point to not show the last wall. I guess it would be alright if a person was using it as an office, but as a bedroom? In a place that I'm sure costs upwards of $1,000,000 or more? Room was barely enough to fit a bed. Like I said they could have taken a few feet off this area and that one to use to make the rooms bigger. For seven figures I don't think anyone would be happy with 10'x10' bedroom.

Yes the inter design is overtly gorgeous, they really went overboard here. Very much a reason for that. Also the same reason it is vacant and being advertised. Really need to know a city before moving renting or purchasing property. Even and especially before air bnbing. The reason they had so much budget to spoof up the interior so desperately is because the rent of the property value is so little. The reason for south loop: visit and take your pick: the petty and physical/robbery crime, the nastiness on the streets, the aggression of strangers just walking outside, the fact that there is nothing but low income and thug personalities with lots of weirdos acting out on drugs or trying to start fights with people and actually almost no real attractions or things to do whatsoever. Most people I only ever saw living in south loop were just on the metro bc we were all escaping it. It’s a bottomless pit and on the path towards the real south side and China town. Not to say you can’t live there. I even lived in Austin/west Austin. Very short term after the time I was living in south loop. Both were the same- a very big mistake w zero quality of life or very much an atmosphere of low petty behavior and fear and both from a lack of knowledge. I don’t know how much has changed since they’ve tried desperately to lure people there since it is a starving market compared to other parts of town. Not a single broker hasn’t tried to sneak south loop into conversation even after explaining I’ve been living here and know the city all over for years, bc it makes their job easier - ready to move in vacant and relatively CHEAP units for what it is because of where it is. Location is everything. Live in a city and you’ll never mistake it again. Esp cities like Chicago and nyc where crime and overall environment, the people, and quality of life is A WORLD OF A DIFFERENCE neighborhood by neighborhood even though the distance and a map look negligible. Wondering how much is it as newyorkers are acting feared.
Does this place not have a north east view or did they just miss it because thats the best angle from South Loop locations
The penthouse is on the same level as the common rooftop terrace which has spectacular views to the north and east.
