This song lowkey resonates with me since when i was younger, i put up this "friendly" facade to attempt to fit in and make some friends but along the way i abandoned that facade since some of the people i met are just dicks and become myself. Essentially i told myself that "I'm tired of being what you want me to be" which ironically was one of the lyrics in the song. Since then, i'm alot happier. Another reason is that in 2018 i was in a terrible mental state that in some days, i quite became numb and cried myself to sleep some nights but 4 years, i'm in a better mental state but i still have some days where i feel absolutely worthless and have no purpose but they are extremely rare.
