Thanks for taking all of us along! Really fun. A guy pumping my gas in Oregon told me they passed that state law because of a terrible tragedy involving two little girls who were burned to death. Anyway, glad you had a good trip. Can't get enough of those views, even on UA-cam!
It's a fantastic video, it made me remember when I was traveling with my family in those places, thanks for making my mind go back to the past and it's right, Oregon is a beautiful place and it's an adventure to travel north, for us it's more than 1500 miles but it's worth it, greetings and drive with care as we wait for more videos, greetings.
One last look at the ocean, so sad. 😭 I REALLY want to see the ocean in person and spend LOTS of time on a beach. Fog or not......it still looks gorgeous there. Thank you for the awesome tour. Give my Scoobers a hug from me.
The hoists are actually to lift the boats into and out of the ocean. Port Orford doesn't have a bar to cross.. the boats are put right into the ocean! No rivers for these guys!!
Russ a huge THANK-YOU! from Roger and I for the look at Port Orford........ We are going to summer there and winter in the Quartzsite area. What a great trip this has been. Many thanks for the ride along and superb video content. Be safe. Give Scoobs a milk bone from us please.
russ, great riding shotgun with ya ! those crane's are for launching boat ! i.e. no lanch ramp ! that way those other guys were launching by hand ! are you going to do the lost coast area i.e. fort bragg ?
Hi Russ, love your videos. I own a 33 ft class A motorhome, plus a tow vehicle on a dolly. Want to travel the pacific coast line starting point would be Washington down to California, what is your advise about traveling the coast in a motorhome. Gary
Those cranes are for hoisting the fishing boats in/out of the bay in Port Orford
The hoists are for getting the BOATS out of the water! LOL! You're silly. Second time watching this. Love the Oregon coast!

it would be slow...just stay on the 101, you wont be able to pull off to see the ocean as much with a motorhome
thank you for the info, wife & I enjoy watching your videos, Gary
Forgive my ignorance but what are the requirements and any amenities for staying at the elks lodge?
