So just remember how the original version of this song back in the 70's by the Funkadelics blew everbodys mind back then and how freeing your mind and your ass will follow all these years later. Im still following after all those years. WOW!!!! Pioneers on strings!!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Been traveling down the maggot Brain wormhole and ended up here, friggin glad I did. The emotion on her face when she is whipping that thing into submission is incredible
Dafuk!? That dude is seriously killing it with that BASS, honestly whole nother level. I started typing this when i saw he was feeling it during the violin solo. Then boom lifted it another level again :D
I just saw Eric & friends play a nice subdued house concert in "Marvy Marin" last Sunday then a fantastically ripping show at the Ivy Room in Albany that "blew the doors offa tha sucka!!!" All I can say is that I never get tired of hearing his interpretations of any of the music he plays because it is always "fresh and different every time!!!" Thanks for bringing so much incredible music into my life all of these years!!!
Johnny nor the devil neither one got nothing on this girl 🤣 the most amazing thing I've ever seen involving a violin. Now I either wanna be one lol or play one💢❤️
I'd been wondering what happened to Wally Ingraham; I'd heard he was fighting cancer some years back and I'm glad to see that he was healthy as of 2018 ---- and hopefully still is. I got to meet him briefly at a gig when he was playing with David Lindley; nice people, both of them, they were both very accommodating to the teenagers I had brought along to the show with me.
Incredible performance, everybody firing on all cylinders; and how have I never heard of Lili Hadyn before? That violin just burns! I just wish the sound quality was better.
Great rendition of Maggot Brain. I haven't heard any band play a version I liked other than PFunk. Every member of the band rocked it! The lead 🎸 waa on fire, the violinist was channeling "EDDIE HAZEL" AND THE BASS was Spaceship 🎉BASS! ua-cam.com/video/O1D2Ei_EtYs/v-deo.htmlsi=Oi5C75atuc3qcdHs

Absolutely On Point
Does anybody know his name? I've been trying to find him since put water in the shit to cool it off 😂💀
@@levi._likes._ryebread8518 Doug Wimbish (as written above). He used to play with Living Colors, a Rock/Funk band in addition to be a studio musician
@@jeanclaudebossonney7520 he's still with Living Colour.

Doug Wimbush from Living Colour. Monster player.
If this doesn’t help folks understand why some people want to become musicians I don’t know what will.

Oh yeah, I smelled that shit
Eddie Hazel lives through others and 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 alike who's a Funkadelic when maggot brain is being played with force, play on for Eddie 💀💩.
so mystagogical
Well now.......if that don't "rock your socks off" I don't know what will!!! Sheeeit!!!
the bass solo was good. The people who have written it is great are cheesy or douch bags.
You need to play with economy. Too much is not better. Not musical. Can't even hear violin.
Love me some Bernie!
