Very nice, bro. I need to try this. What I use and works for me is a degreaser I get from the dollar tree and I pretty much do it how you do with the hose and a small brush to get all the gunk and dirt off, and I use the compressor as well to dry it off.

you can always remove servos and receiver, but that's what the air is for.it blows all the water out of everywhere whilst drying

good stuff man! i need to get hold of that cleaner spray you used.
i personally would even go as far as removing the engine from the car, just to be safe. but i understand why someone wouldn't want to do that.

Yeah the more you strip the easier and better it is to clean. If it’s extremely dirty then yeah I remove the engine aswell makes life so much easier.

Glass cleaner? Waste of money? Water? Never! Rag and wd40 /GT85 / your fav silicon spray and compressed air is enough for me. I really don’t see any bonus using water on an rc car full of metal parts.

Well the glass cleaner I use for car/van which would be the same for your GT85 as I assume you use for a motorbike so wouldn’t say waste of money.
That’s why you use a air compress to blow all the water off the car so it’s bone dry. Never had a bad bearing fail. Where as I think coating a car with wd40 or even GT85 with the PTFE makes everything sticky so dirt/gravel/sand is gunna stick to the bearings and reduce there life.
But that’s only my opinion, someone else would disagree with both of us as we all have our own methods on how we clean them 😄

the only thing that can rust here are the bearings and the wheel hubs/cups, but if you blast it with compressed air after water its totally fine and bone dry..
if you really are scared you could spray a little WD40 onto the bearings but you gotta blast it with air again as dirt will still stick to any kind of degreaser or oils.
      remember, water will just evaporate..

Dry brush and compressed air to remove dirt and dust and then gt85 for me brings plastics up like new protects metal components and the spray actually make it easier to clean after a run aswell

@@danielwood4590 yea exactly!! This is a video about how NOT TO CLEAN an rc car. A video about how to ruin an expensive car

      Will need to research gt85.
Simple Green and compressor always worked for me but get surface rust eventually and dont trust WD40 on plastics (WD40 made brittle & broke snowboard bindings years ago)
