Tata is being greedy here. Entry level EVs battery and motor prices have come down drastically. But they are not reducing prices. There's a scope of 1-2 lakhs price correction in 8 to 15 lakh segment
@@abhishek_raj_3232 It's very difficult to launch cars in the Tiago price segment. Each and every company is eyeing for the 10-20 Lakhs As is evident with MG Windsor, Punch EV which has been very successful
Normal warranty for components except battery is just 3 years. Maximum we can extend upto 5yrs. After 5yrs no one s going to take risk. So its just a disposable product. So people running 3k atleast will only benefited
Very good initiative, look forward to hear more of such importance issues which otherwise is not brought forward on reviews. Request to provide Wheel Base and Max/Minimum distance in cms between front and rear seat, also the level of under thigh support for rare seat passengers (especially on EV's)
Not a single product in this world is bug free or doesn't face any issues. Your car is very new so you haven't faced any but you will face after a while!
@91deep93 my Honda city had zero issues for 7 years. I think you are not familiar with honda city. And.. Yes I have only driven the Curvv EV for 3000kms now, but I am confident after using it for this long and talking with others owners that there wnt be any major issues.
@@atorbtech Yes I know that Honda City is a very good car.We had Ford Figo 1st Gen for 14 years 8 months until this Dec when we exchanged it with Punch EV. Figo was an absolute beast and didn't cause any trouble. I've beaten Virtus GT straight up and have given tough competition to XUV 700 as well with that 14 years old car. Moreover, My friend owns a Honda City purchased in 2016 and now it's 2025 and he still owns it alongside Punch EV. So I am already familiar. But since you mentioned that Curvv EV is fully devoid of any issue(s) being a Tata and that of Punch&Nexon EV have got problems that's where I wanted to correct you that it's Tata. They cost cut in every possible manner and moreover since it's an electrical tech afterall, you're found to face issues. Be it minor or major, sooner or later. I wish that you don't face any but still you've to take it with a pinch of salt!
@@91deep93 yes i understand your point, but i feel Tata having used a lot part sharing with Nexon and Punch Ev into Curvv Ev.. they have solved most of the issues arising from building a system with 100s of parts and sensors. Both Punch and Nexon Evs have lots of bugs and issues, Only the initial buyers of Curvv EV had issues like buggy DRL, boot not opening etc. I feel curvv is now a polished product. Hopefully Sierra EV will be a great car and a successful product as I wish to see Indian companies like Tata and Mahindra succeed.
XUV400 is a very underrated car. It has all the features plus it has a better cabin space even better than zs EV and has a decent range with 5 star safety.
Please don't generalize your opinions about Windsor and defame all the other EVs. I am personally using an EV for 4 yrs and am so happy with the experience that I'll never go back to an ICE car. Unsubscribing now...
I want u to check tilt down angle of stering wheel of cars .... I recently selected XUV 400 ev after test driving all the EVs .. it's easy to drive but one thing common in all EVs is that specially in nexon and XUV 400 the stering wheel when tilted down does not tilt much as of hyundai creta .. so driving position is not comfortable 4 me so I cancelled my booking and now I am waiting for creta ev or vitara ev
You've highlighted the right points which many might ignore unknowingly. Coming to the infotainment, Windsor's infotainment screen is too big. I feel, ZS EV's screen is the right size.
Anyone who wants to buy an EV, first thing you have to check that how will you charge it at home by AC charging. So anyone who is NOT having any fixed parking near your point of electricity, don't buy an EV. In a society flat you may have to use many many metres of wire from your metre to the charging point. Some societies don't comply particularly societies which don't have fixed parking place
@91deep93 . I was in a society flat ( DDA).(Second floor)I got the plug fixed in the parking with my separate parking place. Now I am in a floor( 3rd floor) I have parking place on the ground floor. But I can't buy another EV as it will be possible for me to get another parking place near the metre
When hydrogen based cars would be launched? Then we can have a comparative analysis between EV and hydrogen based cars, I hope Toyota listens to it and launches their hydrogen based cars at the earliest
There is no 3 lakh discount now. So, the prices of Nexon lr top end was 19.29, which they dropped by 3 lakhs to 16.29. Now, the Nexon Empowered 45 is priced at 16.99. There are no discounts on the same except insurance.

Nice video. All were valid points. I have curvv ev and I am super happy with its performance.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad you are enjoying it!
EV's are still overpriced. Tiago MR EV should be priced at 6-7 lac. Comet also feels overpriced. ☹️

Yes, EV's are definitely overpriced but many ppl just don't wanna accept this fact
The Indian ev market still lacks competition, especially in the segment of the tiago ev.. absence of rivals allows the tiago ev to remain overpriced 😢
@abhishek_raj_3232 yes 💯 agree. We Indian needs small cars like Tiago and comet for city traffic but companies are mostly making big SUVs. 😔

Very much enjoying Curvv EV. Gives me 400kms of range without ECO mode. Unlike punch and nexon EV there are no bugs or issues.

Nice informative video but Conclusion is missing. Which one should one go with?
These points are applicable for ICE cars also, what is EV specific? Like back seat

Is the 3 lakh discount on nexon ev and 1 lakh discount on punch ev continuing. !?
❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓
Yes definitely. Punch is also offering 50k discount and 20k additional as an Exchange bonus if you have an old car
