Same here, played it as a 12 year old and I’m re-living my youth by playing it again. Nothing beats the original, I even prefer red/blue over fire red .
1) That stone evolution bypass trick is actually possible with all stone evolutions, although some of them require glitch Pokémon to be pulled off. 2) That grass cutting trick works for all games before Generation IV. Also, in Pokémon Emerald, a Pokémon with Hyper Cutter for its Ability can Cut down larger areas of grass than other Pokémon.

You can get Mew under the truck, you just need to have certain Pokémon in a specific order. First slot is a Lapras, fourth is a Clefairy, Fifth is an Arcanine, and in the sixth slot you need a Mew! Enjoy your mew ✌️
So regarding the last one: During a playthrough of Red/Blue years ago, I was in a spot where I sent in a lv 3 Pikachu to finish off a weakened foe (just to gain the experience jump). After the battle, Pikachu jumped from lv 3 to lv 9. All seemed normal, but then the Pikachu evolved without the stone at the end of the battle! This was years before everything was accessible online - so I never learned what caused it - but seeing this Clefairy trick makes me wonder if something similar was done in my game (and if the other stoned evolutions have a way to do it). Thanks for sharing this! I'm bck to pondering just how bugged the game really was.
They dont expect you to go to celadon after lavender town and come back to try a pokedoll. They figured youd only come back to the tower once you had the scope, so they didnt think to make pokedolls not fuck up their roadblock

A very weird sequence break would happen, he would dissapear, along with all of team rocket, but when you go back to the hideout, he would still be there, along with the other grunts, scientists, etc.
Well... You can cut grass in all Pokemon games for GBC/GBA. Hidden truck is in the remakes. I think that Pokedoll works in remakes too. Reference and music are in remake too. X Accuracy is working too. Statue fishing don't work in remakes. Walking on trees works too. The Munna easter egg don't appear in remakes. The Moon Stone and Exeggutor don't work in remakes.

If your game ever stops saving you can change out the battery.

I just found another secret! You can surf on the statue in Lorelei's room! That can explain why you can fish on statues.
