Best gameplay hands down, so many fighters, modes, feats. Definitely needs to be remastered
It is best in my childhood but now I can see it is just arcade game with cool character designs

This was one of the scariest Mortal Kombat games of all time. well done.
This game aged pretty well. An HD remake with polished gameplay and unique fatalities would sell like hot cakes.

Best MK, maps you actually move around in and stage interactions along with all the characters. We need this remastered 🙏 and you cant forget the amazing campaign imo and best part... MOTOR KOMBAT
ya but no fatalities, it ruined the game thats the best part and the create a fatality is dumb
@reignman965 there was fatalities tho, but yes traditional fatalities in a remake would be needed to make it popular

This game really has held up well. So much sheer fun kontent included. Fun Kombat, fun motor Kombat, fun Konquest mode. Kreate a fighter & online. Yeah it's not the most polished, but what a overall package. It's still being played online too with a decent amount of regular players and a live online rankings leaderboard.

Of all the characters involved in Armageddon, you can found only 30 fighters involved in MK9, 22 in MKX, and 26 in MK11.
Where did you see 26 in mk11? If you have mk 11 ultimate there's 37 characters
@@POSTEDSTUFF8 Hey Sherlock. I'm not counting the whole roster, I'm just counting the only mk11 characters that appeared in Armageddon, same with 9 and X. But if you can find Cassie or Robocop in Armageddon, then be my guest.
Now you only found about / between 20 in range main roster in mk1. Not include kameo.
They change Tanya, Asrah and Havik Appearance. Now They used Bomb ans Stick, not morning star, tonfa and scythe

The map interactions... the weapons being fully immersed, the movement, the the amount of characters, how could they forsake this style??? I know we saw something like it in mortal kombat vs DC but how could they not make more mortal combat games like this whether they're in the story mode or not? Like what a fuck up....

Watching this today after playing mk1 makes me miss the old days of gaming. Where dlc wasnt a thing. We will be lucky to have this many characters.

I haven't played 'Mortal Kombat: Armageddon' in a long time & completely forgot.
My memory is a little rusty, (haven't played it since around 2008 😅) but I believe that's one of the arena weapons. You can use it, but it returns to its spot when you change styles. I recall beating up my sister in multiplayer a few times using said hammer. Such fun memories. 😂
Edit: That's alright, I don't expect anyone to remember that information, I had to go looking at Gamefaqs just to make sure I wasn't talking out of my butt. The game is almost 20 years old.

they will never bring this style back because it wouldn't sell enough sadly... only old people like me want it to be brought back... the new games do nothing for me... too different to original mk and too different to this too...... i don't play games at all anymore....... but if they remade this i might play it now and then
It's a shame Shang Tsung ending wasn't Canon so many doors could have been opened up well at least finally Vandamme will be johnny cage at last although his version of guile wasn't bad
