Awesome episode! All great choices and honorable mentions. I'm qualifying Winger for this as Paul Taylor and Kip were both with Alice Cooper, and Rod Morgenstein was with Dixie Dregs prior to Winger's formation
Very cool episode...great choices...loved how u and Ryan were thinking outside the box on some of ur picks...u guys did a great job tying it all together...and I'm with u guys on Britny Fox, I love Cinderella but definetly like Britny Fox better, their 3 album run they had is tough to beat! Can't wait till the next episode...Take care and Rock On🤘
always loved the following ones: newlydeads (taime downe) devil city angels (rikki rockett) saints of the underground (blotzer, robbie crane, jani lane, kerri kelli) sofa king (telsa memebers) manraze (phil collen) freak of nature (mike tramp)
So as we all know … Ferrari was the original name of the band that ultimately was renamed Cold Sweat. However, they first switched their name to Cryin’ Shame but had to change it because another band had the rights to that name. Their CS logo had already been created so they then changed their band name to Cold Sweat so they could continue using the CS logo.
I was screaming in my head, “Hardline, Mr. Big and Damn Yankees!!!” until they came up in the honorables. Some others: Fastway Scatterbrain Fight Chickenfoot
I saw an interview with Tracii Guns and he said something to the effect of him never regretting leaving GNR. He said something like…if he stayed in the band he wouldn’t have been able to provide the magic that the Appetite line up brought to the table and GNR wouldn’t have been as big. Guns also said something about once GNR got Slash, the Slash persona is what really set them apart. Then Tracii talked about loving the Appetite album when he heard it. He heard it before it was released and he said he knew it would be huge. The interview with Tracii is on UA-cam somewhere. Oddly, I watched it last week.

I haven't listened to this episode yet, but I see Shadow King on there! I love their album. It is solid, catchy, and not one filler song on it.
Shadow King rocks hard🤘

Billy White from Watchtower was the other guitarist in Don Dokken’s “Up From The Ashes” lineup.
Todd Howarth was in 707. And also was a background player for Cheap Trick.
I was so close😂😂😂
