Kruger National Park - burchell's zebras

In Kruger Park we find Burchell's zebras - one of Africa's many zebra species. They live in large herds, often together with giraffes and wildebeests. Burchell's zebras are animals that feel best at home on wide plains. But there are also zebras that live in forests only, and zebras that feel most comfortable at higher altitudes.
Although they all look alike, no zebra is the same. Each zebra has a unique pattern.
In the bushes we find many antelope species, which share this area together with the zebras. Again, nature has arranged everything in minute detail: one species eats the short grass, the other the long grass, while yet another species only eats leaves. Add to this the fact that one species is bigger than another, and can therefore reach other leaves at a different level.
