    That Darko Milicic pick is the exact reason why teams haven't been high on Europeans like Jokic and Luka when they first entered the league.

    I appreciate the guys who retired early from this draft class. They may have retired early in their careers but some of them are happy after retirement, and some of them became still involved in Basketball to teach and share to the youngins what they know for the sport that they love. Much Respect.

    If Lebron had sucked more like MJ did in His early years , maybe the Cavs could have gotten better draft picks. Like the bulls did after MJ kept losing.

    • @amilcarsafeca7629
      @amilcarsafeca7629 Рік тому +4

      Bulls made the playoffs every single season from MJ’s rookie year meanwhile Lebron missed the playoffs his 1st 2 years. Their highest pick was in fact the 8th in the lottery considering they were a minimum 8th seed in the East everytime. By far the best pick they got was in fact Pippen in the 87 draft at 5th from a swap, which didn’t have much to do with their record, also that year they went .480, better record than Lebron had in his rookie year of .412. Their only other notable pick # was 5th from another swap where they got no one notable.
      Basically, your comment is factually incorrect and senseless. Jordan made the playoffs every year and the little picks that lead to notable players like Pippen had nothing to do with their previous season record.
      In summary: he never sucked.
      Oh and Jordan’s early averages also shit on Lebrons so I wouldn’t go down that path either.

    I think whoever Detroit picks would be ruined for the first few years. They had already formed a team and really every player was wasted player for that year. They gambled with him. Young, left-handed and had raw talent. They hoped it would be valuable and prosper for years. Now that he was not clear in his head and that he was lazy, that is another problem. For some reason Detroit kept trying European centers in those years. I guess because of the price. Rebrača, Varda, Okur, Milićić...
