- In this episode we use OEM GM Parts to bolt an OBS GM bench seat into our Squarebody dually and modify a van drive by wire throttle assembly to bolt to the firewall in the correct position. We also installed the correct software file on the ECU and went on our first test drive! This one isn't for sale just yet. As always, thanks for watching!

Don’t know what’s more annoying: all the ads being thrown at us or you lowering everything you drive…🫵🏼
Sounds like you need a hug Keith…
All good I lower everything as well
It’s your truck you can do whatever you want with it.
Unless Keith is being tortured by being forced to watch content, 'Clockwork Orange' style, there's a simple solution to his problem...
I been missing a pinned comment this week.....and here it is
Glad to see old Duff got a proper ride this week. Even got to pant level excited!! The project is coming along nicely. A few more instalments and she should be one sweet ride. Thanks for all you do to keep us entertained every Monday!!
Mortske making Monday's bearable! 👍👍
Morske making good Monday morning 🌄
As someone who isn't typically a fan of lowered style trucks, this one managed to really catch my eye. Nice truck and excited to see where it goes from here!
Glad you liked it!
Being different is what makes you Mortske and we love it! Thank you for another awesome video.
thanks for watching!
Haven’t even clicked on today’s thumbnail, but grateful just seeing Duff Dog brings a smile to my face and putting on my mouse ears anticipating another great episode. You and Duff are doing Gods work. Love the Duff. Thank God for Mortske and Duff Dog; universal ground!
An Illinois truck, you nailed it
I am definitely digging the more door content. Keep up the great work.
Just a man and his best friend, cruising along the highways of this great country!
As I was watching the time-lapse of your carpet extraction, my heart tug made me double-check that I had given you thumbs-up but you had me at "Hey there, boys and girls", it turns out.
Thanks for the videos!
I always thought a size up on the nut would be a good idea on all nuts and bolts, so you only need 1 set of wrenches.
Hello Mortske & Duff. As all of your faithfull viewers know Duff runs the show. He even has a dedicated Duff Cam. So it is a no Braiiner to this viewer, call the build "DUFFS DUALLY" Keep the videos coming.
Thank you Mortske,
I don't know what you did but I was able to hear everything you said. No need to guess at what the rest of your sentences were. solid volume to go with the solid content.
Glad to hear it
Wow I’ve never seen as much snow in my life like you get over there
Mortske Monday , Like a breath of fresh air on spring day with a pollen count of 50 . Thanks for filling my day with great entertainment . Stuart in Ontario...............
haha
You were having way too much fun with that Jukebox! 😂
I had a 73 ford pickup with the original bench seat still in it! It was in bad shape! Had a buddy that gave me a 95 ford truck bench seat that was in good shape! All that was required for the 95 seat to fit the 73 was changing out the sliding rails! Changed out the sliding rail frame! The 73 frame bolted right in place on the 95! And the measurements were the same because it lined right up back in the 73 truck! I was amazed at the time that this actually worked!
Oh wow!
I had a set of those Atturo tires and got 75000 out of them before I got a new set and never had an issue, they still had tread when I pulled them off!
Sweet!
I put power bucket seats from a 93 Suburban into a 85 Suburban with Flex-Steel seat conversion. The 85 did not have the plywood to level the floor, so I had to leave the '93 inner brackets in place and cut down the outer brackets. It wasn't a huge job, the plasma cutter worked well. A whiz wheel would also work to cut down the outer seat riser. A little paint, and it looked completely stock. The back seats in the 85 were captains chairs, which I switched over to benches from the 93. I don't remember having to do any major fabrication to get the rear benches in. Those Flex-Steel seats are HEAVY!
We also used the term footfeed. From my previous trucking days that pedal is also known as the hammer or go-pedal.
My theory on sizing a 7/16 bolt with a 5/8 for the bolt and 11/16 for the nut was to sell more infrequently used wrenches UNLESS you owned a 750 - 860 Massey Ferguson combine. 7/16 bolts were EVERYWHERE on those! The 5/8 and 11/16 also made get-me-by substitutes for a 15 and 16mm.
Keep up the good work!
Jesus! 21 min. in and you managed to get the truck on the lift. And Wes was talking about HIS time management?!
✌️❤️
🙈🙉🙊
but we never ran into the wall!
@@MortskeRepair Comment was about TIME MANAGEMENT, (contextually inferring loquacity) not safety.
Speaking of storms we had one roll through here last Wednesday, took out a sub station, then the power surged and set off the hardwire smoke detectors, oh and it's 1 am, thankfully I've got a generator, it's hooked up to the breaker box with an interlock, as borat says very nice
Nice job on the seat. Looking forward to the next dually installment. Have a great week!
Thanks, you too!
Love the truck. I have a 91 SQRBY DUALLY, same color. I removed the running boards, Switch suspension. Removed the chrome simulator and Powder coated the stock wheels. Like the air compressor setup. Right now have Schrader valve to fill rear helper bags
Very cool!
Got that GM feeling! Your definatly on the right track. All my vehicles were white cause it's cooler in summer. Love the Duffer! Idon't think he likes using prop's. He look's like a loving and loyal friend. Because of a disability l haven't driven in 20yrs. I enjoyed the ride to CHIN'S. See you two next time aye. 🍻🍕🚚🌞 really, l enjoyed the ride dude.
I stabbed a set of '04 Grand Am buckets into my '87 Chevy pickup and it was the best mod I've made to it. Only took maybe an hour to make some brackets, and they're way better than the old sunken-in bench for sure!
It is my opinion that this is an excellent channel to watch
Much appreciated
@@MortskeRepair I look forward to Mortske Monday
These things where all the rage in 80s and 90s. Lots of racers here in the Carolinas had the slammed to the ground as there daily
I run those exact same air compressors in several of my carpet cleaning vans.... Harsh hot and damp environment yet they all have thousands of hours on and still work great.
Good to know!
The White knight... The bench seats actually looked good.....You told us not to pay attention but that awesome pickup in the background is definitely a 48 to 54 GM pickup. My guess is a 49 Chevy. Keep up the good work 👍

@33:40 nothing like some good oldies on the radio! I wouldn't mind making a dually square body suburban
Yeah, at least a 10 minute jukebox video. Good idea!
Finally got me some super scrapers! I'm sold! Gonna get some more and stock up. Thanks for the tip. You rock Brother! Got to get a hoodie now. Love your vids bud!!
Good stuff
"Crewcab " that's an original name. Will be cool cab. Thanks Mortsky
Central California watching
Love your vision for this truck to create something super enjoyable for you to drive and haul. Lookin forward to the journey.
lowered crew cab LS. that is different. i dig the sound. thanks for sharing your project. we are lucky that you do. i watch more of your stuff than any others and there is good content out there.
Thanks for watching!
Yup, still my favourite truck you’ve done. Don’t sell it, I don’t want to have to make room for it. Enjoy, happy Easter!
Thanks, you too!
Loved the Jukebox tour, the only thing missing on there was Rock Me Amadeus by Falco.
Love to see this truck restored
I have that same compressor and an air chuck on my Wife's Sooper Doody. The air chuck is pretty well protected and it STILL gets "gritted" up and has to be freed-up every time I try to use it.
The sliding collar is what gets stuck.
ALSO, it would be easier to access if you hadn't lowered the truck.
Oops, I said it AGAIN!!!
Hey Mortske dont see many duallies(not sure how you spell that ) down here in Oz The name of that ride should be called Duff's Truck . Theres room for You, Duff and all of his mates even room for some sammichs or Tinnies as we call em down here is Oz 🍻🍻🍻
My boss has a 94 c1500 bench seat in a 78 c10 on uncut 94 brackets. It fits perfect
Internet rumor has it that puddin is planning to call you and the bubble top out to a drag race with his wagon.
You should call that truck Bobby Knight. It's old, white, admired in its day, and still kicking.
Throwing chairs
My son started watching you because he wants to learn I started watching you because you are a very good looking man so please keep making videos
His father might not like you saying that!
Now ya put your main squeeze next to ya going down the road ! Lol
Still love the content. Thank you for entertaining us.
Another phenomenal video Mortske ... that tow rig is gonna be bad ass once she's done 🤘🤘🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
The horse biting the dude was funny as shit
How about "fluffy cloud"?
It's big, white, floats on air, and its from the 80's like Bob Ross.
Happy trees
And I thought my dad and I were the only ones left that said “foot feed” lol.. anyway Mortske you got to do the gas pedal prank on something that would be wicked funny! Lmao
That exhaust is hard! I dig loud. I don’t like glass packs but straight pipes are way fun. I hope Duff doesn’t get a complex after trying to outfit him with bunny ears. He chases rabbits. Nice ride Mortske!
Thanks
A friend got a diesel pedal free for his dualie lowride gas 6L engine... didn’t work until he switched some electrical pins around.... shrug... glad I am not the only one that detests Cragars and Keystones... touche’
Snow Ball. It's white, It's winter and It's snowballing into a lot more work. And I kinda like the lowered look with the running boards. The roof rack well It's easier to keep it then take it off. Love the look of that truck.
Fair enough!
How do you not have more subs lol. Love it. Would love to see this rig on the road
You and me both!
Have Puddin name the Dually for you!!! Whatever he comes up with will be perfect.
Making it a nice looking vehicle. Looking great. Should be comfortable. Keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
For a Chevy that thing sounds awesome. Loud pipes save lives🤣
You got that right!
Hahaha Duff supervising to make sure you don’t bugger his seat up!
always!
I bet the former owner thought that it was pile carpet on the floor, so when he found some lumps in it he tried to remove them with that cream you found there Mortske...😉😁
Ewwwwww
Duff has you wrapped around his hairy paws. Got to love the pupper
sure does!
What a sweet ride great truck for cruising
It sure is!
Busch Light is 18.99 a 30 where I’m at. Keep up the good work love the channel.
Oh wow!
You do good work Mortske, but you may need to talk to Duff about carrying a little more of the load.😜
Mortske tested, obviously Duff approved!
"He's a strange cat even though he's a dog!" Should be a new shirt with Duff on it. Love both the channels. Thank you sir.
Great idea
Thanks for another good one Mortske & Duff!
our pleasure Larry!
Great new tow pig I think a good name would be white lightning ⚡️
Our Oliver tractor we have on the farm and my Case CK580 had a hand throttles and a "Foot Feed".
Those nutsert are a wonderful thing!
Yes they are!
I see Mortise because of Duff,,get to work,,the only one who can talk and work it's Pudding lol
An obs pedal for a 6.5 bolts in place and plugs into the ls harness
As they say, The last 10% takes 90% of the time.
I use to work at an exhaust shop and have tried many different ways to do exhaust, Open just sounds awful, having a large glasspack or 2 glasspacks sounds decent most of the time, only mufflers often sounds very ''explody'' like yours does, I would recommend a glasspack and a muffler, but thats also just my brown eye.
Love the cowboy caddy tho.
Cheers from Iceland.
Duffers a big helper. Say hey ?
Hope you had a great Easter
Great video,
Heard Duff panting at the end , my old ears though you had a miss
Lol
Same to you!
Love this rig
Name of the Dually: "Mort" means "Dead" (post "Death") and ""Ski" (also "Sky" in other regions) is a formative adjective, from the Proto-Slavic "ьskъ", which defined affiliation to something. It was also used with names of territories and settlements to denote possession or place of origin." The combinations are endless. As Singer/Songwriter Don Henley once penned in "Gimme What You Got": "They don't make Hearses with Luggage Racks". LOL
We are really doing it harry 😂😂😂 one of the funniest movies of all time lol
Dang right
I agree with you on the glass pack. Not a fan never have been
I'd love to see some more rolling shots from outside of the vehicle.
Noted!
I think it needs cragars, a flex hose or 2, headers, fuzzy dice and hula girl to make it complete!
I like the name Tom, as in the song "Hang down your head Tom Dooley"
Nice Juke box!
I saw Titanic in here, good idea!
Keep up on the vids much love to you and duff,
The bobcat collection is nice nice
The tug boat would be a good name for it
You would think Duff could have given you a paw in the seat removal
no doubt!
It looks like it is Mortske beard approved
Keep it on the Downlow!
94 and newer GMT400 6.5 diesel pedal to be exact... Drops in exactly to the firewall on a square fitment wise. You have to move 2 wires around and trim one tab in the connector.. voila.... gen 3 dbw pedal. I have about 5 of them because the you pull yards are full of that junk lol.. like 15 bucks a pop.
This only works with the 03 to 05 TAC modules... the early 01 and 02 DBW stuff is on it's own as are thr 06 and 07 classic trucks.
If you want one I can send one your way!
Awesome
Nice going Mort
Thanks
Great content. Duff, at times, looks bored. You have a great pup!
I don't usually share my browneye but I will here I'd have redone the buckets and looked for a decent console lol
Bolts are labeled by the dia of the shank for engineering purposes - to provide quick reference of its strength (grade of steel notwithstanding). Of course that leaves the mechanic to figure out what size wrench to use for the life of the product its installed in.
You can name it the stoolie, cause of the turds in it, and Duff approves them.😁
Ha
I had to do a front brake hose today. Wondering if I can pull the factory spacers off and run stealies with 265/75/16.
Thanks for another great episode buddy. Top work as usual.
Thanks again!
Yes please on the torch instructional.
Dwayne Dually, Wide Wendy, Two ton Tess, Dopey Mick
The Albino Dachshund. It's 4 legs are so short, that it's belly practically drags on the ground.
Boy the old cowboy Cadillac sounds great but you have the old infamous ground problem on your fuel tank sender for the old square bodies That's why your fuel gauge just pegged way past full either it came unhooked or it gave up the ghost
