I did the first project using either a 12,or 16 ounce hot beverage cup with a slit cut in the bottom . It remarkably amplified the sound of my smartphone without sounding tinny. Great where space is limited. Next in line was an 18 oz size cardboard tube that rolled oats came in. Louder, sound,and better bass tones , but not as portable when on the go. Best of all, no batteries,and only one tool, (a box cutter knife, or pair of scissors) required! 😀👍

used a full length paper towel roll tube for an older tablet with styrofoam bowls at end it seems to give better sound. I would upload pic if I could I also added a triangle piece to brace a toilet paper roll. I didn't use paper or styrofoam cups and the sound still went up. I can send pics if anyone want to see my homemade ideas. there goodies for a long term solution if your poor. and need extra speakers. however I wouldn't reccomend idea 6 of your DIY speakers it could damage or scratch screen. otherwise good video minus the music
