Biking From JBER To Eagle River Loop Rd.

It is a mostly flat route, parallel to the Glenn Highway, with scenic views of the Chugach Mountains and Eagle River, among others. It can be biked from any point in downtown Anchorage, connecting from any of the trails and passing through the interior or exterior of the U.S. military base “JBER”, the Anchorage Regional Landfill a number of schools, landmarks, and parks, including Beach Lake Park, Chugach State Park, Cottonwood Park, and the Alaska Native Heritage Center and continuing for miles and miles. It is frequently used by bicyclists, hikers, and joggers, providing both recreational and commuting opportunities.
