Hi, I don't know for sure as I don't have an Amaran 300c but if it uses the standard/universal size bowens mount it will fit & work

Hi yes the light I tested it with on the video is a strobe light I was using the modelling light for the video. I have been using it with strobes and COB's

@ I was thinking of using it as one single light with strobe. Doable? I see other photographers use it as stand alone light with the gobos and a separate strobe. I only want to use one light with it

@@shupingyin8082 Yes it is doable just depends on the type of photo you want, I have mostly used it with a gobo on the back ground and another light lighting the person or a spotlight/ a slit of light on the person and this is just with one light. The only bad thing is if you want the gobo light to be big on the background/person you will need to have it a good distance so this is something to keep in mind if you will be shooting in small spaces
