    This is great thank you, the magnet and needle didn’t quite work for me so I used a vacuum cleaner one end of the tube and fed the pull thread with a small knot into the other end, the suction from the vacuum pulled it through really easy even coiled up and on my own 🙂👍

    magnet on the needle was a great idea
    i dint know how to do it so i just used the clear tube, inserted silicon, and then cable tied it in place
    still going strong after 5 years, its quite stretchy

    Thank you, guy. This is definitely the cheapest way to make a floating line. But there a lot of things you should do in order to make it better and more reliable. 1. Fishing line is better than thread to get through the tube. 2. Ends should be made from stainless steel with more strong pieces. I have already made a couple of them and have been using them for the last five years.

      I did build one. An it worked out perfectly. Although I do recommend using a vacuum to make things quicker.. Thanks for the build guide. Awesome videos too.

    Schönes Video. 👍 Es kann eine dickere und stärkere Schnur mit stärkeren Schlaufen und einem Karabiner verwendet werden. Dann können Sie auch Thunfisch fischen..

    Great video mate! I am doing my floatline based on this video. Can you send me a link pls where you got those clip swivels from? ( is it a fishing swivel as I couldn`t find similar in any dive shops) Thanks,Levente

    • @jbikedh
      @jbikedh 4 роки тому +2

      I don't use the line through the middle. Just stick silicone in both ends make 2 and cable tie. Pulling the black rubber over the cable tie. Don't use fishing swivels! Use carabiners from a boat shop stainless steel.

    Wat would be better to use 3mm tubing or 5mm tubing as I can't get 4mm were I live thanks

    • @germanspearfishingchannel5359
      @germanspearfishingchannel5359  6 років тому

      3mm is a Little Bit tight, i would use 5mm instead, its just harder to seal it up, but it will work definitily!

    Just wondering, in general do floatlines never get tangled/stuck on your fins, for example when duck diving?
    Does the line never get close to the fins? if so how does it not

    What kind of rope do you used to insert in the tube? Polypropylene, nylone, other?

    • @germanspearfishingchannel5359
      @germanspearfishingchannel5359  6 років тому

      +Maksim Zykov Polypropylene, nothing serious, of you want more strength use dyneema :)
