Yeah it's a proper old style clubber .can't believe they only allowed 76% payout on it .there is a % increase thing with the green plug according to the manual but it seems it is already on the high setting!
To discover it was the rom that had held me back from solving this machine was quite the surprise as I was able to secure a spare rom card from another sweetheart double(Steve's one), I had dismissed almost any possibility of rom issues as I had tried 2 sets. I know a lot more than 6 months ago and I would have dumped the ROM's and hopefully cracked it, This machine did knock my confidence as I had spent so much time (50+ hour) and could not fix it. I am over the moon this machine has ran again and I so glad you was able to save it Nick, It was 24 hours from landfill when I got it so to me extra cool to know now it is safe for many decades to come. A very early example as you say where it is almost like the machine is doing its best to impersonate a electro mechanical machine but using very early MPU hardware. I am sure you will have the gamble issue resolved before long and I look forward to another video in the future.
Cheers chris and I'm very relieved it's actually running now. I'll tidy it up a bit and get it in the house and do some vids of it .very glad it wasn't thrown away !I'd love to reprogram it to chuck out 2x50p in one slide instead of 5x50 but otherwise it's a nice old relic.
Very nice
It’s a great fruity for its age a lot going on thank you ned for sharing
Yeah it's got a lot of charm and probably the first duel stake machine .
Nice machine Nick..
Very nice machine, very clean too
It's basic craig but it's how I like em
@ I to like those basic clubbers more challenging 😅
That certainly takes us back in time. I can imagine many blokes lost their wages on a Friday night or Weekend.
