Malika, Malika. I always feel emotional whenever l watched your posting, especially your love and support for the poor and the needy, vulnerable members of our community. My heart is broken watching the people of Kibeira. I really feel very sad. May God Almighty bless you and your friends for your charity work. ❤❤❤
Hi Malika. It is possible for you to arrange some form of talk with girls and boys in their puberty to enlighten them about getting their education and a job before thinking of having children that they can’t take care of. She had one before and then another and then depending on her mom did support. Where is or are the fathers of these children.
Beautiful family, babies are a blessing, God has blessed her with a daughter and son...All the best to this young mom and her family...Many good things come out of the ghetto, with that said, if she want to move on one have to work hard and find their way out of slum, I know many might feel comfortable in their surrounding, but I can see this young lady can have a bright future...Do your government build affordable housing? All those slums can turn into a descent housing community, do your government work with programs like Habitat for Humanity International? Don't worry at least they have a roof over their heads, I have seen people right here in the Western World sleeping under bridges and in tents, and I'm living in one of the richest countries in the world...But here we also have affordable housing that is call the projects, and it's run by the government...that go according to your income, no income live free...Maybe what your government need to do is turn those slums into public housing communities...and least 3 stories apartment.
Well done receive baraka for helping others she has beautiful babies hopefully after conversations she will do better and get to provide for her children 💕
Thank God for u Malika hopefully she takes your advice and get her kids and mom out of slums and give her children a good childhood and better chance in life🙏
Like some of your other supporters, I subscribe to a few channels about the lives of people in Kibera. One of the common themes is that these poor girls are having children way too young. Are there any contraceptive initiatives there, where the girls can get caps, contraceptive injections or medication? Its difficult to stop adolescents making babies - even more so when they live in these conditions. The contraceptives won't prevent STDs but they would prevent pregnancy. Sadly, I understand that the boys won't use condoms, but put the fear of God into them in early adolescence by telling them the nasty effects of STDs and hopefully this will change the mindset over time. Also, would it be cheaper in the ling term to buy reusable washable diapers? It would save the families money. Keep up the good work. You're doing an amazing job ❤
Thank you very much for your honest opinion.... True this is one of the biggest challenge in the Slums and hoping one day it will be tackled accordingly... My prayer
Awesome question/observation,, that will keep fascinating generations... But truth is, as researchers concluded from a past research, living in want makes one make decisions that excarcebate poverty... Consider a case where a vulnerable teen girl from a single parent (mum), lacks the very basics that a girl/woman may need, but out there she meets some random guy ready to 'provide' her in exchange for some lustful desires...
Let's ask that question to all mothers in the same situation. You think it only happens in Kenya? Leave your judgement I f others at the door. Birth control and family planning is key ,advocate for it.
Concerned…. I having been watching a lot of African channels and I see where these young people lack basis amenities and food. Why then bring a little child into the world to suffer when you as a parent or parents are suffering.?
Lack of sex education in school and at home. Also, some of them from poor homes will meet a guy that promises to provide for them basic needs like sanitary pads only for the guy to leave when the girl gets pregnant. The problem in our country is that the law doesn't work for the poor,so their efforts of taking the man to court for child support may bear no fruits. It's sad.
Beautiful content your a blessing to the family
Thanks so much

Thank you so much 😀
Are you still in Nairobi? I have some baby clothes that I can donate to her.
Hello currently not in Nairobi but I have someone who can collect the clothes...
WHere is the father of her babies? In providing all of these things, are you enabling him to abandon his responsibilities?
