I was going on a Meateater marathon and watching every season of Meateater when I got the notification for the video. I couldn't believe it at first, and dropped everything to watch it. Congrats Flinter, you deserve it after that painful Red Fox grind.
I just had a similar situation Flinter. I was on my way to the gator lakes and ran into a great one whitetail. Then when I got to the lakes not 10 minutes later I ran into a diamond alligator.
Someone was shitting on the .223 on Reddit, and I personally like that gun because it's light enough for me to carry 4 guns at once, and it takes care of any surprise coyotes I come across while on my GO grind.
When you said your heart was pounding it made me think if when I got my first diamond being a red fox and it scored 15.3 and I was stoked, speaking of red fox, I do remember you saying that if you got a super rare gray fox you might grind for a super rare red fox, is that something to look forward to in the future? getting a super rare is on a different level of heart pound, which i experienced with my diamond leucistic eastern cottontail on mississippi. found it in the bottom right on a turd track lol
Just found my first diamond fox. Only had the .45 air gun and for some reason it was shooting way way off at like 90 yards. Had it set at 109 yards and it was all over and messed up the shot.. nice.. I also wish the air gun was a 1-3 weapon, then it would be worth using. No clue why the devs can't just change some stuff and make weapons useful. I know they probably have in game analytics and can see how many players use what gun and see what guns don't get used and guess why. Wish they would just fix stuff.
If you're on a computer and hit "7" it brings you straight to the kill claiming... I just thought that was cool... anyway this is an awesome trophy, congrats man!
