  • An inside look at how the United States Air force prepares its aviators to survive under the most challenging circumstances. Whether it’s in the desert, the arctic, at sea, in the jungle or as a prisoner of war, Airmen are prepared for any situation. And it’s the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) specialists who train them. These elite instructors are experts on how to survive in the most remote and hostile environments on the planet. And it’s up to them to make sure that when a mission doesn’t go as planned, the Airmen involved are ready for anything.

Great video.........Thanks for sharing ...too bad Homestead and Arctic training not to mention jungle school guess because they dont exist any longer at least I had a chance to do all of them at one point in my career Was a SERE instructor for 10 years and loved it. Later X-trained too Loadmaster. But what gets me the Altitude Chamber recurrent was a semi annual AF requirement and later when I retired and flew another 20 years with a commercial airline not once was it a requirement to do ALT Chamber training. All that training eventually paid off when a window in the cockpit blew a seal at 39,000 feet.
