Thank you Anon sensei senpai apple pie. You can also think of oceans as a giant global ocean, separated in sections defined by region- such as the Pacific, Atlantic, or even the Southern Ocean (Antarctica).
@@Anonymei I'm my state Manipur India there's a freshwater lake - Loktak lake also called as the floating lake where mnay vegetation floats above water which itself is a natural lake and also most rivers and tributaries flows in this lake Google it and see it's an interesting lake
How do you explain west philippines sea and south china sea when it’s clearly in the middle of the ocean. Why is it called china sea and philippine sea when you cannot see the land???
Good question! If you swim toward the Philippines, you can see the land. With seas, if there’s land close-by on the other side, then it never transforms into an ocean. Such as in the case of South China Sea, where if you jump into the sea and swim far away to the other side, you’ll reach the Philippines. In the Philippines Sea, though, if you swim far away, it would take very large distances to reach land, therefore, the sea DOES transform into an ocean. Hope that answers your question.
Well, the Indian Ocean is connected to land by several seas. For example the Arabian Sea connects the Indian Ocean to land. And yeah, I did say several differences between seas and oceans other than their relative connection to land. One of the differences was the depth of the two, and the other was the size. So you could generally say oceans are larger and deeper than seas.
So where does this Put, Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Lake Huron, Lake Erie, and Lake Ontario??????? Because none of the Great Lakes are landlocked!!!!! They all have outflowing rivers that eventually reach the Atlantic Ocean
0:57 Correction: lakes may also drain into rivers. They’re called Exorheic lakes.

is the water in the lake still? and it is just connected to the river, not moving water?

Huge + Shallow = Marsh
Small + Deep = Well

Seas are technically oceans then right? That’s what I got from here
Technically, yes. They are a continuation of one another
