    Why are you turning on 48v phantom power for a mic that doesn't use it? Shure 57 is Dynamic and doesn't use that.

    • @StamatisStabos
      @StamatisStabos  4 місяці тому +3

      i have only a condenser mic for a long time and i figure later that dynamic works with no phantom hahaaa

    Are you able to Test if you can play backing tracks from your 'Samsung Phone' VIA the USB C port, I do this on my Solo Gen 3 and it works perfectly out through my monitors, I just dont want to buy this product and realize that Focusrite have changed something.

    Nice review, can we use 2 guitars and 2 microphones at the same time with this audio interface?

    • @StamatisStabos
      @StamatisStabos  2 місяці тому +1

      No it doesn't work when you connect all the 4 mic and instrument inputs, that's why called 2i2, you can do that with the 4i4

    When recording the acoustic guitar it looks like it is set to “line”. Isn’t that only for when the guitar has a pick up and you are plugged into the 1/4” jack?

    can i connect my guitar to the interface, the interface to my laptop and hear it from my laptop speakers? do i need to plug in headphones or monitors to hear the amp from the DAW off my laptop?

    • @mediviesti

      Most DAWs just use whatever your operating system is using for output (unless you specify otherwise). The operating system will often automatically switch to any new audio output device you add. Like if you plug headphones into it for instance. If you plug an audio out device (like the Focusrite Scarlett for example) your OS will most likely switch to sending all output to it. In your operating system settings, you can just go back and switch to using your computer speakers after you've plugged in the device. Your DAW will then switch to sending outputs to your speakers (unless you have settings in your DAW that override that. Some DAWs allow you to pick outputs for individual tracks. So you could have track 1 in your earphones and track 2 in your speakers if you'd like. You'd have to research these settings for your operating system and DAW, but it is possible... it's just a little bit different depending on the DAW and OS.

    • @StamatisStabos
      @StamatisStabos  2 місяці тому

      Depends on the guitar pickups single coil Jazzmaster are in 9-10 o'clock humbucker pickups have high volume sometimes you need to have it all the way down, but better check the lights not to be red when you hit hard the strings
