Corpse's vibe throughout the escape room streams were "i'm just happy to be here". you could tell this is not his thing but he was doing it for Toast and Rae's sake.
I got a completely different vibe from him. It felt like it's really not his thing and he's not fitting in for that kind of game.
He did nothing, he slowed the girls down and he didn't feel like she's doing anything useful

@@mirster7262 thats literally what i am saying. he was just playing because his friends were playing the game. he wasnt much interested in it. he did help Rae in the duo rounds though. instead of obsessing over the clues which is what Rae was doing, he guessed a lot of the combinations and got them right instantly. that definitely saved them a lot of time.
(my comment literally says "you could tell this is not his thing" and you said the exact same thing but still prefaced your reply with "i got a completely different vibe". make it make sense.)

This was basically toast vs rae. Having more people actually can confuse you more in escape rooms. It's easier to solo things then work separately. Too hard to share information. Two is usually the best number as a team.
The real way to do escape rooms as a group is everyone doing one thing if there are more than 1 puzzle to focus on

@@peterahdy7354 Well if you have 2/4 or 3/4 number then you can easily brute force the 3rd or 4th number by trial and errors. Same thing with puzzles that dont have many combinations(like the clock one).

Rae's actually pretty good at this. Her teammates... not so much... and Toast... well, it's genius Toast...
Practice is actually a pretty big part of being good at escape rooms, and Rae does have more practice than her teammates so that makes sense.
Idk man, she took a looong time with that math task at the beginning of the video. Which was top tier entertainment of course, but still 😂
She is better at it on her own, with others she’s tried to spend time explaining things or sharing things she has found while the others solved things without knowing or found things and didn’t even look at it or mention it, like the book for the head. On her own I think she has a better chance it’s just much easier to play this game on your own.

@@rustyastronaut3118 Imagine you're in a tunnel. You can only see what's at the end of the tunnnel. So... tunneling basically means you focus so much on one thing that you can't see other stuff. Toast tunnelled with one of the keypads.

@@rustyastronaut3118 Toast's main weakness from my observation is that he doesn't wait and analyze trivial looking things - that is why he lost to plants and he got the numbers (5=6) wrong in the other puzzle
Leslie and Miyoung struggling while Corpse, Rae and Toast watching was GOLD.
Toast might not have the best reaction speed or best memory sequencing but his puzzle solving and logical reasoning brain is massive.

If they would split up and do different riddles at the same time, they could beat him, and if all of them were as smart as Rae, who did actually most of the riddles (and was about to do the Fuel correctly but got hindered by the others).
Since Rae and Miyong did the clock riddle, while Rae was doing other stuff, is the reason why they were more close in that room.

To be fair, Corpse is just that one guy who never answers a question in class and the other students keep encouraging him, Miyoung just is watching Leslie and Rae, while Leslie is struggling, and Rae is doing most the work. Toast’s intelligence can beat Rae and Leslie for sure.

Love how Leslie convinced herself chat was lying about Toast finishing first. I wanna do a challenge with toast so bad. I genuinely want to see who would win, I felt like the brain checkup level was too easy.
Those puzzles were too easy, not enough red herrings and it was obvious what clue was for what puzzle.. Feel like most people would've beat toast since he got stuck on the keypad with the worn numbers or maybe that's just me because I did a similar puzzle before where you put a uv dye on a keypad and wait for someone to enter the code then afterwards you used a uv flashlight to get the 4 digit combination from their fingerprints. The rosharch thing was immediately obvious as soon as they found the first one, could instantly tell it was a number and the "1/3" on the bottom made it too obvious where it goes... Some cool puzzles but those were designed for like 5 y/o kids, wish they ranked them by difficulty and chose the hardest ones to compete in since with easy puzzles like this it's detrimental to work with too many people. Rae probably could've won if she wasn't comparing notes with 3 different people, half her time was spent asking what the other people found and what they moved, if they split the work up properly it would've been an easy victory too.

I really like these series, or any series really where Toast can show off his incredible intelligence (whatever you say about Toast, you HAVE to admit he is smart) which is why I think a lot of people enjoyed the Among Us and Hearthstone periods.

Love this video idea Toast! An idea for future vids like this, add a timer to the screen so you can see at exactly what time each person completes a task. I think it would be more interesting and introduce more stakes!

What is not shown in the video is toast is even playing with a handicap. The game tells you if an item is usefull with an icon next to it's name. It's actually pretty usefull to not lose time inspecting useless stuff. Toast has it turned off
He also didn't use hints, but his 200IQ and him playing alone means he was still at a big advantage. More people = more chaos.

Having watched this in full from toasts pov... this was much more polished than his actual attempt where he was stuck for about 10 mins on a few puzzles
He completed all the levels in a little less than 15 mins so it's literally impossible for him to be stuck on a puzzle for 10 mins and finish in that time.

I think they lost because they were so MANY, like Leslie had this hints but didn't bothered telling Valkyrae and Corpse, but instead try to figure it out on her own, and only gave it when the game is near end.
And the thing is that Toast never went for the clues he figured everything out on his own and that in it self adds to his intelligence and problem solving skills 😭😭
I want to play this so badly. I don't know if it just how the videos are laid out, but all the clues are immediately obvious to me... its a fun combination of being entertained and in pain because of their struggles lol

I’m glad this was close. It’ll have Toast stepping up his game in the future I bet. Still, he was really fast. If it wasn’t for Corpse hacking the last one then they would have struggled at least a bit longer on that last one.
That was smart. Toast had 3 out of four in a sequence & easily found the piece in a similar situation but if he hasn’t had a clue I wonder if he’d have brute forced the last digit or not.
I think that they are all fairly intelligent & I enjoyed watching how their different approaches worked.
