Damn he passed away? I had no idea. We'd met a long time ago in '09 through newgrounds and so impressed was I at his pieces Saraiana, Radiance, and Life Ends With You that I immediately spread the word to all my friends. I went so far as to upload a version of Sariana he'd sent to me because one of my friends couldn't listen to it on newgrounds. We'd talked for a while and he was interested in doing a remix for my piece We May Not Be Perfect. It's so surreal to think that only a couple years later he'd be gone. Those pieces of his still hold a spot on my playlist and I suppose all I can really do to honor his memory at this point is to try to revitalize my stagnant musical career. He'd believed in my ability enough to give me his blessing in the form of trying to remix a piece of mine. The least I can do is try to see it through to the end.
Sorry for responding to this six years later. I rarely check here anymore ♡. I think that Andrew (Xayro) would love knowing that he still lives on through his music and that it touched people's lives. It brings me a lot of joy that people remember his kindness and his creativity, those are the legacies he would have wanted to leave. I hope wherever you are in life right now, that music has a big role in it and will continue to do so forever.
Oh damn. (*Yes, it's me again*) I thought i was done with the feels for a bit. This was beautiful, a great way to celebrate the legacy of such a talented musician, and clearly a great friend. I'm sure he'd be touched to see that he's still revered in such a strong manner Ya done did good, Ai.
He helped me back then with music. Never forgot him
