Is no one else a bit annoyed that the buff Ponos gives to cats is only achievable at the highest level of play. I don’t think a fourth form is necessary, even though some units could definitely use an improvement. Why not add talents to more rares and super rares? Add more true forms for legend units? Or just stick with making ultra talents instead - in my opinion it sapuld be one or the other.
I personally think it's PONOS preparing for the future. As the game went on, there's gotta be stronger enemies that true forms cannot keep up, and there's probably units out there who got terrible talents/true form. I just hope they make the ultra forms achievable by grinding, and also hope they don't make this game too P2W.
i think theres 2 reasons: money and design actually, all three 4th forms notably either look FREAKING AMAZING or fix things with their designs/animations (giving windy more clothing, making dio’s attack fit his animation by making it multi hit, oda just looks epic) edit: also i think this actually kinda fixes one of the biggest problems with ultra talents, the NP cost, if every unit got ultra taents you’d spend 50 years (or alot of money) to get NP just so somebody like oda gets an extra 0.5 seconds of freeze time
Seeing Oda actually perform well makes me so happy. Previously he was probably my worst Uber and I knew that as soon as I got him. This was the ultra form I was interested in most and honestly it delivered. Doesn’t mean anything though because I ain’t getting a level 60 Uber anytime soon

Counter Surge could be such a cool ability on a unit like, say, Lilin. Imagine her getting Resist Surge+ Counter Surge talents, just face tanking all surges sent her way and returning them to sender.
Tbh the biggest buff is that both the lil guy on to top is now doing something instead of just sittin thaere with his arms crossed like "hmph me stronk" but now hes like *says some cool anime jitsu kinda deal* and actually does something. Also the big face is now...idk did it even change?

Honestly the only use is the knockback amount and hp. The counter surge is funny and interesting but I think it only counters at the range that he has witch kinda sucks but yet again he’s the very first to counter and deliver its own surge in a way. It’s really nice though. But tbh what would’ve made him at least more usable for his counter surge is to at least gain a semi reduction on the surge hit but makes a surge that counters and hits harder. That way he can survive a bit longer. Maybe strong against or resistant would be nice but it’s probably asking to much. Either way he’s finally got some potential and I like it since he was my first Uber (I think) when playing this game so it’s really nice
I tried him out and counter surge shreds aku realms, max level omens and super xp aku stage, killing a single aku peng or aku snache triggers a chain reaction that gets the whole stack killed or frozen. He sucks ass against surge base and advent boss unfortunately

It’s literally just nobiluga but yes transcended and there’s just random ahh clones surrounding him. 5 multi hit combo😭😭😭 Edit 2: Fourth form for BALALUGA. Clock Towerlan Chronlan He has a clock for his stomach his eyes glow yellow and has bronze skin. Effects 10 second freeze weaken slow
The only Issue wish Nobunaga is no shield pierce which is crucial for units who target aku and it seems that Ponos really hates giving out the pierce ability
@@GodlyGoku101 lilin sucks???????? what?????? lilin is the best shield piercer uber in the game, and she does amazing damage. Sure she has bad range, but it isn't that hard to protect her for atleast one hit to get off a pierce
Honestly its good you do Oda justice, i feel like a lot of people way underrate how good anti aku is for Oda even without the surge immune or shield pierce. Plus, the damage he does is very good, 10k dps, which while it is lower to others that are specialist damagers or kasli/phono tier power, its still an incredibly good amount of damage output to the point that he alone can break some of the weaker shields wielded by Aku. I dont exactly agree with the tier he is in for your ranking, but nonetheless he is very good now, and im happy about that. I honestly feel like he would definitely fare well even in mixed stages since he is incredibly bulky so he can take a few stray hits from other typings while freezing or damaging the front line
men just give nekoluga’s an ultra. asiluga get’s much better freezing against all. Papaluga turns into his prime (new best unit in game) Furil could have wayyy longer and crazier hair with way better damage and range.
What happens if you are fighting an enemy with surge reflector using an uber with surge reflector, and you attack the enemy with surge, and it reflects it. Will your uber reflect the reflection? Will the enemy then reflect that? Has anyone tested it?
against black, bombercat is usually the go-to for freezing, as he is spammable and has a short cooldown, along with guaranteed freeze against black with area attacks. against aku, he has near no competition.

Does the extra range matter? => No, basically every black enemy is melee except for Le’Noir and Kurosawah, both of which can be infiltrated by Bomber anyway. Bomber is cheaper, more spammable, and has better overall speed than Oda.

They need to make NP and Dark Catseyes way easier to grind. Also, catellite and shigong are still crying for talents

Sadly a surge from Counter Surge cannot trigger Counter Surge.

That’s been tested, and unfortunately surges that are reflected won’t be reflected back, so no surge tennis :(
