No, the bucket is in contact with the rubber from the element. As you can see on the video

I didn't see a Ground wire anywhere. You also need a GFI to plug your heater into. If the element housing ever developes a pinhole...You are going to be very unhappy with yourself.
Just for giggles pls put a cover over your connections so if water splashes your not part of the circut.Bzzzzzzz
