Thanks Robot! Did all the way to floor board in order to put 12v from battery to a plug in glove box for battery charger / USB port Plus put on new side stand easily. I learned a long time ago to keep track of screws & bolts by drawing a top down "flat" picture of the bike on a cardboard box and plug the screws/ bolts in their location on the drawn picture. HOW ABOUT CHECKING VALVE ADJUSTMENT in a video. See you in Feb '23 when I pick up a BV 400!

Yes, it seems more work to get at the workings of a Liberty than the Vespa, but you should see what has to be done for the PCX 150, which has lots of hidden x-mass tree clips. I was trying to find the video that showed what it took to check the valves, but I couldn't this time around. I've read posts from PCX owners who state that the valve clearances never really have to be checked. : / I checked out a Liberty. They seem much better made that the outgoing Fly. Still, other than the fuel tank capacity, as Robot seemed to have pointed out, there's not much not to like about them, but I will nitpick. They should change the tires to perhaps 13" but significantly wider. This would give a lower seat-height, not that it's too bad, but some women still buy the Buddy solely of fit. It would also be cool if the S was bored to 175cc for the U.S, but it's a lesson that Vespa refuses to learn. I also want a wider leg-sheild. The Liberty's are so much a bargain, in California, the tax and prep cost half the price of the scooter. As I sat on one, I thought to myself, that I couldn't believe that this thing only cost $3,000, well $4500 out the door. Unfortunately, because I have SSD disability, I can only legally register vehicle. What I wanted: to use a car for long trips, and use a scooter for my daily things to save on gas and the city wear and tear. The outcome: for years, I hardly have gone anywhere except for the doctors, doing chores, and going to the one local coffee shop I can get to. I hope the laws change someday. I wanted just to rent a scooter, and go for a ride. I check out rentals, but there's not much close, for cheap, but still I look. Well, I got my M1, anyway.

Hi. I have a liberty 150 2022 and im thinking of changing the halogen headlight bulb with a led bulb. Do you know if the reflector of the headlight is suitable for led bulbs?
Hell, with all that taken apart you may as well run as much electrical stuff as possible. Delete turn signal pods, run a usb to the handlebars, set up those turn signals you added to the top box, etc., etc..
Love your videos! Question! Is there a way to install some bar end mirrors on this liberty? I see the grip and throttle are both one piece, so im confused
It wasn't shown but I'm sure it was just edited out...the manual seat latch so if the battery is dead needs to be reconnected when the glove box is reinstalled. Otherwise, dead battery and you can't open the seat to get to anything to repair it.
I came to your video because I have to replace the left front deflector, 1B001337. And the small chrome piece. Do I have to disassemble all the parts that you did and start from the rear?
please help me with this: I want to remove my right hand mirror on my piaggio liberty 150S… the question is, does that affect my front break lever in any way, is it safe?
Hi there i just had my front fork cleaned and selaed as it was leaking oil and my bearings lower and upper changed. Now when i go backwards the bike makes clicking noise and especially when i turn right while moving it backwards it makes a loud click. Any idea?
ive a 2021 Liberty S 49cc and today i released that there are 4 tiny cables under the trunk, exhaust side of the scooter are chewed & broken 2 cables one of them is green. any idea what is it? my all dashboard is working and lights and signals are working too and also i dont have a piaggio service close to me, what am i gona do ?

It comes pre-wired for a 12v outlet. No need to run a cable to the battery. But you need to remove the glovebox to get to the connector.
You don't need to install a 12V socket, just bring a power bank along.
