Fuck.
Probably the most delightful college related song that most people don’t know much of today.
Thank you for this work. Seeing these cartoons on TV as a kid was a gateway to loving 20s/30s popular songs, which led to a lifelong love of jazz, which is mostly interpretations of old popular songs. A real musical education came with this shorts.
i always liked this one
Of course, the part before the chorus plays in the Merrie Melody but I decided to exclude it since it plays all throughout the ending. Also IMDB says it plays in "A Broken Leghorn" but I couldn't find it.
It plays at 4:56 during the corncob/shotgun gag.
They Haven't Heard This In A LONG Time!

Thanks for taking my recommendation. 😁
This just tells me they beat Mel Brooks to the joke of making Native Americans Jewish by about forty years! (Also, as a Jew, was NOT expecting two Jewish stereotype jokes within the first few minutes. Different times, eh?)
Cartoon Foot Ball and Space Jam.
Was this song own specifically by Warner Brothers? I can't recall hearing it in cartoons from other studios.
1:00: Mickey Cameo!
0:04-0:27 Horace and Clarabelle made a cameo😁
