So I was about to take a nap after an awful morning AND *oh boy oh boy look who's back with a gorgeous ranking, AND a male character, we so stan* 😍 I just adore Hisham in every role he's played, such Arabic voices are real miracles for me, so I'd rank him way higher huhu. The Cantonese language sounds so right for Quasimodo's character for some reason, can't even explain why, but I loved what I heard. Massimo indeed sounds a bit too confident but oml doesn't he sound just wonderful? Sadly though, I'm not a fan of voices such as Castilian that follow that style of the English one (not a fan of Tom 😭) with that *superfrequentsupertightvibrato* which kinda spoils Quasi's soundtracks IMO, BUT OH WELL they're indeed emotional! Your 1st place sounds brilliant, and so is that "Thank you all for watching" 😌😌😌 Greek & Danish are my top 2 I think, they're *angels* 💖
THANK YOU for putting Brazilian Portuguese in your top ten. Marcelo is one of my favorite voices for Quasi and most rankings drop him to the bottom! EDIT: And German first?? Ah it's Christmas!!!!
If you ask me, Quasimodo is a difficult character to rank, depends on what everyone expects to listen from that character. Though, your ranking is amazing and your comments are so well written. Thank you so much for Sakis!! ❤❤
Lovely editing ^^ . Plus, your comments are always so well written. My favorites have been for a long time Hebrew, Norwegian, Greek, Swedish and Danish. I got to like others versions more by watching your video, such as Catalan, Italian, Quebec (what a fiting voice!) and German. Thank you for Portuguese, I do agree he sounds fiting and natural, I find him one of the best male portuguese voices. Maybe my biggest desagreement (apart from Hebrew, since it's one of my favorites versions) is English, I just think he sounds too shaky and annoying to me, altough I recognize his singing skills.
Yay a ranking to watch! Big agree on Japanese and Hungarian being low, their technique is very over the top and creepy. I also agree with Icelandic being just very medium. HEY LOOK I GET NAME DROPPED! It's been long enough since I wrote my rank that I totally forgot I'd said that, but I stand by it. Top 6 all good stuff. I enjoy how casual and emotional your comments are, I think a lot of us (including me) try so hard to find the perfect words for stuff that we end up sounding too pretencious while you explain your stuff pretty clearly but simply. And with funny emojis. Funny about how long it took you to make this, while I find it relatable it's nothing on me. For example it took me probably 4 years to make my Belle ranking when you count planning. But if you are only counting active editing it took me an entire year to do my Brave Solos ranking.
You always manage to create short recap under every language, without repeating yourself with slogans again and again and that's noteworthy. I appreciate the fact that you try to show a little fact or characteristic for every performance, correlating them with what you think is in common, as well. My favourite ones here are English and Norwegian. I agree that the polish lyrics really conveys the heart of that Quasi, frozen in that time of his character development. Do you know Studio Accantus? I think their version, sang by Marcin Franc (your Aladdin from 2019), could be an ideal replacement for the actual version.
ahhh yess my not-going-to-happen dream is actually to be noticed by them, even in a form of a little comment under one of my singing vids :"D and I 100% agree that Marcin keeps Wojciech's sincere embodiment of the song BUT also pours a whole bunch of singing qualities into it as well ♥ and thanks a lot for a nice comment, it made me smile ♥
I agree with every number execpt maybe french but idk. Hendrik bruch deserved the first place (without being biased from me :D) its sad that he isn't alive anymore though :/
Lol german Quasi and Frollo are both first in your ranking haha maybe you should watch the hunchback of Notre Dame in German one day 😂 Btw thanks it’s my native language 💕
