before it even said (on the first announcement) 'to portsmouth harbour' i already knew that was going to PMH or Southsea because I frequently ride that route lol
A great collection and love how you included the names of announcers too! Great video! Still love Elinor's, Phil's, Julia Berry's and Celia Drummond's voices! And I still dislike the voice of ATOS "Anne"; not very clear and lacks vowel-stresses, I always think it sounds a bit cockney whenever she says the word "Platform"; too short of the "a" and cannot hear her "t" with station echoes.
Thanks! Yes, Phil is a favourite here but it is slowly becoming increasingly difficult to find recordings of him within the London area ever since his passing and word has it that he and Celia are being axed off the South Western Railway network (possibly completely) from August and replaced with Anne. Hopefully it's not true or at least fully true but only time will tell.
London Connected The ‘new Celia’ was just a trial run by South West Trains which rolled over to South Western Railway. Soon Celia and Phil will be replaced completely on the SWR network with ATOS Anne.
Please note that subtitles have been uploaded now. Thank you for your patience. We hope you enjoy the video.
