Intellivision take apart and repair

This is unplanned episode as I did not expect my old Intellivision to have issues but it did. Vintage consoles and computers usually do, due to their age. I've also learned the hard way that this console takes a lot of work to properly open up. However it was interesting to take a look at the logic board and in the end all is well.

Thanks for video. It has been a long time since I have seen inside.
BTW My father was the Mattel Engineering Manager that moved production to Hong Kong. He also setup the original repair facility in City of Industry CA. Long since gone.
My recollection is the RF Modulator was the most failure prone feature due to cheap components purchased by higher Execs.
