I was applied for my naturalization before month ago and i have interview for few weeks so wich version i need to take to learn, 2008 (100questions) or 2020 (128 questions) and if i need to learn 2008 why, did they change rules, couse in previously videos you said that applicants who apply after January 2021 need to learn test 2021?? And jow much questions we can expect, 6 or 12?? Thanks for answer 🙏😊

Had my interview on 16th Mar 2022 at Newark, Nj. Had oath the same time. Lady was very nice and asked simple questions like First president , what age to vote , Chief Justice, who makes federal laws, one war in 1800. No definitions. Was in n out in less than 10 minutes. I had my interview yesterday, Thu Nov. 18 at 9:30 am in the Washington, DC Office,. My oath will be on Monday Nov 22 at 1:30. It took approximately seven months from the time I submitted my application to receive an advise for the interview. I had a very good interview. The officer was very pleasant. I arrived 15 min before my appointment. One is not allowed to arrive earlier for the interview. I waited approximately 20 minutes to be called and the interview took about 25 minutes. The format was face to face, masks on with plexiglass dividing the officer's desk and the front of the chair and a tablet to the left. The interview started with general questions and immediately moved to the oral and written questions: 1. When was the Constitution written? 2. How many justices there are? 3. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do? 4. How many amendments there are? 5. What are the political parties in the US? 6. Why does the flag have 50 stars? I was asked to read and write just one question. Because I made four trips after I submitted my application, it took a while for the office to update the system. Make sure you have all your dates of travel and be ready to explain the purpose of your trips and be specific. They may also ask how you financed your trips. I was asked a number of times about my taxes, whether I paid them in 2020, if I owed money or if I received a refund. This was perhaps because I am retired. She wanted to know about my retirement and whether I work. The officer also asked if I had a copy of my taxes. I didn't. She didn't say transcripts, she said "proof you paid your taxes in 2020". So, if your appointment is tomorrow and you haven't requested your transcripts, you should take some proofs that you paid your taxes. With that said, it is a good idea to request your transcripts early, they may ask for them. The last part part of my interview (questions) was on the moral character. I was answering NEVER to "Have you EVER" questions, but at some point she wanted me to answer YES/NO. This was long before the final YES/NO answers. Maybe it was just this officer. Perhaps Jackie has more information on this. I decided to write my experience, because I know what it is like to want to know what to expect. Relax, have a good attitude. Listen to the questions carefully (As you all know, even if you if you understand English perfectly, It is a bit more difficult to hear or understand with masks on). If you study everything and have all your papers in order you will do just fine. I promise. Thanks Jackie for the tips.

If you have DUI but conevected and finished all the Requirements by the low and being in jail 3 times it’s all mestemena are they going to deport you or taking your green card away or what’s going to happen I am not that person any more can you please answer

The officer was very friendly. The oath ceremony was on the next day. Oath ceremony Notice was given after I finished the interview. One more important thing I went 1 hour before my appointment time for both interview and oath ceremony . That helped me because there was a very long queue outside the office for security check. Hi Jackie, I praise God, from whom all blessings flow. I just stopped by to thank you for all of your videos. My mission has been accomplished, because your videos helped me greatly, and I am so glad to have you informed that I passed my citizenship interview on Tuesday, April 12. The environment was so friendly and the staff were very welcoming too. As for the officer, she was excellent in handling my interview. She made me to feel well relaxed and in less than 15 minutes, the interview was over. She didn't ask me for any definition. She just asked me six questions and once I answered all six, she stopped the civic test. Next, she conducted the reading and writing tests and that was it. I signed the papers and she handed me a copy of my result congratulating me for passing the test. My oath ceremony is in two weeks. My interview was conducted in Philadelphia. I applied for my citizenship in February, 2022, and my interview was scheduled in April, 2022. The process lasted for two months. Thank you so much Jackie. You contributed highly towards my passing. Just in case, here are the questions that were posed to me during the interview. Questions: 1. Name one branch or part of Government 2. During the cold War, what was the main concern of the United States? 3. Who is the Commander-In-Chief of the military? 4. What are two Cabinet-level positions? 5. What is the Political Party of the President now? 6. What is the name of the vice president of the United States now? Reading test: 1. When is Columbus Day? Writing test: Columbus Day is in October. Had my interview and the Oath ceremony right after this morning at Durham NC. The interview was quick, simple questions and easy answers（Who veto the bill, When is the last day to file the income tax, in what month do we elect the President, who is your House Representative, we elect a house representative for how many years, why does the flag have 13 stars), The reading and writing was Who can vote? A: Citizens can vote. The officer also asked my phone number, my address, my job, when did I get married, my husband name, when did we get married, if I paid taxes, when was the last time I traveled outside the US in the last 5 years, either of my parents are US citizen, No answers to all other questions, no definitions were asked and the officer did not ask for any documents exempt my green card. Forgot to mention, I filed my N400 back in April 2020, thought it wouldn’t take long based on what my friend told me, but it literally took about two years to get the interview, I know a coworker who filed around June 2020, got interview and approved within 3 months! Met and Talked to a lady who was interviewed today, she’s from Spain and it also took her two years, we were both puzzled why it took us so long, I guess it’s just wrong timing.

I wanted to take a minute to thank you for creating this channel. This is the only source I used to review the questions. I passed my interview today. Experience was great, the officer was really nice; the interview was more like a nice conversation. My questions: 1) 2 rights in the Declaration of Independence 2) who Us fought in WW2 3)if the president can not longer serve who becomes the president 4)one state that borders canada 5)one branch of the government 6)name one part of the government He did not ask any definitions. I submitted my application on Jan4th/2022, had my biometrics on Feb1st/22, my interview was on March3rd and I am still waiting for my oath ceremony, I haven’t got my notification yet. My interview was like this: I got to the parking lot 1 hour early but I entered the building 15 minutes before, waited around 20 mins. The officer called my last name and told me to follow him. Asked my full name and just confirmed the rest of the personal information. Said that would start with reading test: “Who lives in the White House?”, then writing test:”The President lives in the White House”. Then did civics questions: 1. Name one state that borders Mexico(Texas) 2.In what moth do we vote for President? (November) 3. What did Martin LK Jr do? (Fought for civil rights) 4. What are two ways that Americans can participate in their democracy?(join a political party, run for office) 5.Who is the Speaker of the House of Representatives now? (Nancy Pelosi). NO Definitions. Some Have you Ever questions. Asked me how old I was when my father become a US citizen. Was easy for me because I really studied hard (all definitions, civics questions and N400). I have 5 years living in the USA so I tried to do my best learning everything to feel confident that day. Thanks so much 😌😃 again. God bless your life!!

I had my interview on march 9th and it went great..i passed my test and they did my oath ceremony right after the interview.. thank you for making such useful videos.. the officer who took my interview was so professional and nice.. i had combo interview.. I-751 and N-400.. I mistakenly filled up I-90, not knowing that i had a conditional green card.. it took literally two years to process.. so uscis officer told me to file 751 form and thats what i did.. at the same time i got my naturalization interview.. I canceled it first time bcuz i had to go out of country for some family reasons.. but they scheduled it again right after 60 days.. coming to the civics test:- what are cabinets level positions.. when do we celebrate independence day? What are national holidays? Who is the president now? When is the last day to send federal income tax form? What do we call the first ten amendments? Written and reading Who lives in white house President lives in the White House So on combo interview, he asked about our marriage.. marriage date.. about my husband, his dob, when did he become citizen and the date.. his occupation.. bout our children, he asked about income tax forms.. when did i become permanent resident, the date i entered usa.. my trips outside the country.. my jobs.. it took around 20 to 25 min for the interview.. i would say just remember all the dates.. and practice.. my interview was conducted in Lawrence Massachusetts.. it was easy.. also it is not mentioned on appointments letter to bring you income tax transcripts.. but you should bring your income tax transcripts for sure.. I passed my interview today at the Nashville TN office. The oath was the same day. The officer was so kind and did not ask me for the definition of the word. On the other way, she explained the meaning instead. My appointment was 9.45 AM. They won't let you if you arrived early, only 15 mins only. The office checked me in and asked for a state ID and appointment. The officer called me 9.45. The interview started with small talk and immediately moved to the written questions: I was asked to read and write just one question. and then civic test. The officer did not ask me for any supported document even I offered. I did not have any tickets and have never been out of the country in the past 5 years. The interview took about 20- 25 minutes. I applied in May 2021 and my interview is on March 1st, 2022. Thank you for the video. It really helps me prepare for my interview.

Let me first thank you for these excellent videos. They really helped me to feel at ease !!!. I did my interview today (Jan 3rd 2022). The interview itself was about 15 minutes long. All I was asked to show was my Green Card, Passport, and Drivers License. The Civics Test, Reading and writing test was pretty straight forward. The Officer conducting the interview basically repeated the questions in the N-400 form. I didn't have to show any of my kids birth certificates or marriage certificate. She didn't ask for the tax transcripts either. I was told immediately that I was approved and if I was available to do the Oath Ceremony this Friday (Jan 7, 2022). Of course I said yes (:-). I submitted my application on October 11, 2021, so the total time was 2 months and 27 days. I am located in Florida. I hope this will help someone else. Thanks again for your help. A

Your video helped me a lot to pass my interview today. I’m from Chicago and the officer that conducted the interview today was so nice. I did not make a mistake with the civics test and all the other questions and it’s all because of all your videos. You helped me so much and gave me a lot of confidence. I was so relieved and happy. It was like the feeling from Will Smith’s movie “pursuit of happiness” when he finally passed his job and walked out of the building screaming happiness inside. I just finished my interview today and it was a success, I was very nervous and had remembered even the phone nr of any job... I got everything right and the officer was very friendly. Just follow the instructions on the application and this video and don't stress out...you will do well. Thank you for the help with this video.

Thank you very much for each of your videos, yesterday (02-01-2022) I passed my citizenship, and I had the ceremony the same day... I am officially a U.S. citizen to the glory of God. I can only recommend everyone who is in this beautiful and at the same time intense process to watch each of these videos, practice it a lot because the interviews are exactly as she explains them, of course the questions vary depending on the application of each person , but the format is the same, happy and blessed day.

Passed my interview today (01/18/2022). The interview lasted for about 30~40 minutes. Some extra time was spent on the officer asking questions about my marriage (since my n400 and green card was based on my marriage). Also spent some time talking about my traffic citations. Looked at our pictures and asked about the pic - where and when was this taken, who are other people in the pic, etc. the officer wasnt interrogating me or anything. These were all questions that naturally came up. I didnt have any recent picture printed so I offered to email bunch of recent pics I have in the phone which the officer politely declined

The process was just like this video, the officer was in a completely different room, the whole interview was through a video call, the office was very friendly, starts with the civic question read and write, at this point I wasn't nervous anymore so I still remember the questions. *CIVIC QUESTIONS 1. who is one of your state's US senators now? 2. who is the governor of your state now? 3. what did Martin Luther King Jr, do? 4. what ocean is on the west coast of the United States? 5. when do we celebrate independence day? 6. before he was president Eisenhower was a general. what war was he in? *READ and WRITE When is Columbus day? Columbus day is in October I apply on three-year rule so the officer asked me personal and relationship questions, "have you ever questions" no definitions and, The Oath Of Allegiance questions, I review the application and sign. the officer then said congratulations you passed your interview. He came to the room and escorted me to the ceremony room, there were 6 peoples and took about 20 minutes, after the Oath Ceremony she said Congratulations now you are an American Citizen. appointment time 9:15 am I arrive for my interview 9:00 am Interview started exactly 9:15am I was out of the building with my certificate around 10:30 am Jackie thank you so much to dedicate your time to make such a helpful videos. For all the peoples that still needs to do the test, you can be a little nervous of course, it's an important day, but don't let nervousness get in the way of your interview, just say the TRUTH and you will be fine. @@ramandeepkaur6683 I didn't have to go for the biometrics because they used my fingerprints from the green card. They sent me a letter to let me know that in the same day I applied. Here are the dates: October 31, 2021 - N-400 Application. They sent me a letter about the "Biometric Reuse". March 21, 2022 - I sent them an email to ask if everything was OK with my application. March 22, 2022 - They answered my email and sent the letter for the interview. April 19, 2022 - My interview and Oath ceremony in the same day. It looks like the email with a single question triggered the letter for the interview (or it was a huge coincidence). They sent the letter the next day my email got a response. It worth a try. I just sent something like: "I'd like to make sure everything is OK with my application and if I will receive a response via email or only via an official letter". The interview was super easy because I studied every video in this channel, you don't need anything else... just watch and practice them over and over again and you will be prepared. Good luck.

Lady was very nice and asked simple questions like First president , what age to vote , Chief Justice, who makes federal laws, one war in 1800. No definitions. Was in n out in less than 10 minutes. Congratulations! How did you manage to have the oath ceremony at the same day? I want to do the same I have my interview appointment soon. Did you apply for the oath ceremony before?
I had my interview yesterday, Thu Nov. 18 at 9:30 am in the Washington, DC Office,. My oath will be on Monday Nov 22 at 1:30. It took approximately seven months from the time I submitted my application to receive an advise for the interview. I had a very good interview. The officer was very pleasant. I arrived 15 min before my appointment. One is not allowed to arrive earlier for the interview. I waited approximately 20 minutes to be called and the interview took about 25 minutes. The format was face to face, masks on with plexiglass dividing the officer's desk and the front of the chair and a tablet to the left.
The interview started with general questions and immediately moved to the oral and written questions: 1. When was the Constitution written? 2. How many justices there are? 3. What did the Emancipation Proclamation do? 4. How many amendments there are? 5. What are the political parties in the US? 6. Why does the flag have 50 stars? I was asked to read and write just one question.
Because I made four trips after I submitted my application, it took a while for the office to update the system. Make sure you have all your dates of travel and be ready to explain the purpose of your trips and be specific. They may also ask how you financed your trips.
I was asked a number of times about my taxes, whether I paid them in 2020, if I owed money or if I received a refund. This was perhaps because I am retired. She wanted to know about my retirement and whether I work. The officer also asked if I had a copy of my taxes. I didn't. She didn't say transcripts, she said "proof you paid your taxes in 2020". So, if your appointment is tomorrow and you haven't requested your transcripts, you should take some proofs that you paid your taxes. With that said, it is a good idea to request your transcripts early, they may ask for them.
The last part part of my interview (questions) was on the moral character. I was answering NEVER to "Have you EVER" questions, but at some point she wanted me to answer YES/NO. This was long before the final YES/NO answers. Maybe it was just this officer. Perhaps Jackie has more information on this.
I decided to write my experience, because I know what it is like to want to know what to expect. Relax, have a good attitude. Listen to the questions carefully (As you all know, even if you if you understand English perfectly, It is a bit more difficult to hear or understand with masks on). If you study everything and have all your papers in order you will do just fine. I promise.

One more important thing I went 1 hour before my appointment time for both interview and oath ceremony . That helped me because there was a very long queue outside the office for security check.

Hi Jackie, I praise God, from whom all blessings flow. I just stopped by to thank you for all of your videos. My mission has been accomplished, because your videos helped me greatly, and I am so glad to have you informed that I passed my citizenship interview on Tuesday, April 12. The environment was so friendly and the staff were very welcoming too.
As for the officer, she was excellent in handling my interview. She made me to feel well relaxed and in less than 15 minutes, the interview was over. She didn't ask me for any definition. She just asked me six questions and once I answered all six, she stopped the civic test. Next, she conducted the reading and writing tests and that was it. I signed the papers and she handed me a copy of my result congratulating me for passing the test. My oath ceremony is in two weeks. My interview was conducted in Philadelphia. I applied for my citizenship in February, 2022, and my interview was scheduled in April, 2022. The process lasted for two months. Thank you so much Jackie. You contributed highly towards my passing.
Just in case, here are the questions that were posed to me during the interview.
Questions:
1. Name one branch or part of Government
2. During the cold War, what was the main concern of the United States?
3. Who is the Commander-In-Chief of the military?
4. What are two Cabinet-level positions?
5. What is the Political Party of the President now?
6. What is the name of the vice president of the United States now?

Columbus Day is in October.

Had my interview and the Oath ceremony right after this morning at Durham NC. The interview was quick, simple questions and easy answers（Who veto the bill, When is the last day to file the income tax, in what month do we elect the President, who is your House Representative, we elect a house representative for how many years, why does the flag have 13 stars), The reading and writing was Who can vote? A: Citizens can vote. The officer also asked my phone number, my address, my job, when did I get married, my husband name, when did we get married, if I paid taxes, when was the last time I traveled outside the US in the last 5 years, either of my parents are US citizen, No answers to all other questions, no definitions were asked and the officer did not ask for any documents exempt my green card. Forgot to mention, I filed my N400 back in April 2020, thought it wouldn’t take long based on what my friend told me, but it literally took about two years to get the interview, I know a coworker who filed around June 2020, got interview and approved within 3 months! Met and Talked to a lady who was interviewed today, she’s from Spain and it also took her two years, we were both puzzled why it took us so long, I guess it’s just wrong timing.

Jackie I want to say thank you so much for all the information you provide to all of us. For me it was so helpful. I passed my interview recently 😀😊. I only studied watching videos like yours. I submitted my application on Jan4th/2022, had my biometrics on Feb1st/22, my interview was on March3rd and I am still waiting for my oath ceremony, I haven’t got my notification yet. My interview was like this: I got to the parking lot 1 hour early but I entered the building 15 minutes before, waited around 20 mins. The officer called my last name and told me to follow him. Asked my full name and just confirmed the rest of the personal information. Said that would start with reading test: “Who lives in the White House?”, then writing test:”The President lives in the White House”. Then did civics questions: 1. Name one state that borders Mexico(Texas) 2.In what moth do we vote for President? (November) 3. What did Martin LK Jr do? (Fought for civil rights) 4. I had my interview on march 9th and it went great..i passed my test and they did my oath ceremony right after the interview.. thank you for making such useful videos.. the officer who took my interview was so professional and nice..
i had combo interview.. I-751 and N-400.. I mistakenly filled up I-90, not knowing that i had a conditional green card.. it took literally two years to process.. so uscis officer told me to file 751 form and thats what i did.. at the same time i got my naturalization interview.. I canceled it first time bcuz i had to go out of country for some family reasons.. but they scheduled it again right after 60 days..
coming to the civics test:- what are cabinets level positions..
when do we celebrate independence day?
What are national holidays?
Who is the president now?
When is the last day to send federal income tax form?
What do we call the first ten amendments?
Written and reading
Who lives in white house
President lives in the White House
So on combo interview, he asked about our marriage.. marriage date.. about my husband, his dob, when did he become citizen and the date.. his occupation.. bout our children, he asked about income tax forms.. when did i become permanent resident, the date i entered usa.. my trips outside the country.. my jobs.. it took around 20 to 25 min for the interview..
i would say just remember all the dates.. and practice.. my interview was conducted in Lawrence Massachusetts.. it was easy..
also it is not mentioned on appointments letter to bring you income tax transcripts.. but you should bring your income tax transcripts for sure..

I passed my interview today at the Nashville TN office. The oath was the same day. The officer was so kind and did not ask me for the definition of the word. On the other way, she explained the meaning instead. My appointment was 9.45 AM. They won't let you if you arrived early, only 15 mins only. The office checked me in and asked for a state ID and appointment. The officer called me 9.45.
The interview started with small talk and immediately moved to the written questions: I was asked to read and write just one question. and then civic test. The officer did not ask me for any supported document even I offered. I did not have any tickets and have never been out of the country in the past 5 years. The interview took about 20- 25 minutes.
I applied in May 2021 and my interview is on March 1st, 2022.

Omg, it is the first time I read that somebody from Nashville , I have my interview next month on the 9 , here on Nashville. I am nervous.
Let me first thank you for these excellent videos. They really helped me to feel at ease !!!. I did my interview today (Jan 3rd 2022). The interview itself was about 15 minutes long. All I was asked to show was my Green Card, Passport, and Drivers License. The Civics Test, Reading and writing test was pretty straight forward. The Officer conducting the interview basically repeated the questions in the N-400 form. I didn't have to show any of my kids birth certificates or marriage certificate. She didn't ask for the tax transcripts either. I was told immediately that I was approved and if I was available to do the Oath Ceremony this Friday (Jan 7, 2022). Of course I said yes (:-). I submitted my application on October 11, 2021, so the total time was 2 months and 27 days. I am located in Florida. I hope this will help someone else. Thanks again for your help. A

Passed my interview today (01/18/2022).
The interview lasted for about 30~40 minutes. Some extra time was spent on the officer asking questions about my marriage (since my n400 and green card was based on my marriage).
Also spent some time talking about my traffic citations. Making copies of my tax transcripts, bank statements, etc.

What kind of questions they ask about marriage ?
@@ettysabag3893 just casual questions - marriage date, when we met. asked for some recent pictures. Looked at our pictures and asked about the pic - where and when was this taken, who are other people in the pic, etc.
the officer wasnt interrogating me or anything. These were all questions that naturally came up.
I didnt have any recent picture printed so I offered to email bunch of recent pics I have in the phone which the officer politely declined
I watched this continuously for many days…

Hi Jackie, I am in North Carolina, yesterday was my interview 01/19/2022. The process was just like this video, the officer was in a completely different room, the whole interview was through a video call, the office was very friendly, starts with the civic question read and write, at this point I wasn't nervous anymore so I still remember the questions.

I apply on three-year rule so the officer asked me personal and relationship questions, "have you ever questions" no definitions and, The Oath Of Allegiance questions, I review the application and sign. the officer then said congratulations you passed your interview. He came to the room and escorted me to the ceremony room, there were 6 peoples and took about 20 minutes, after the Oath Ceremony she said Congratulations now you are an American Citizen.

I arrive for my interview 9:00 am
Interview started exactly 9:15am
I was out of the building with my certificate around 10:30 am

What could be the reason of long wait for interview date? I applied for my N-400 last year May but it still showing that they are reviewing my case. Can you also do the interview for divorce questions? I really enjoyed watching this interview ☺

Hi. Im confused right now... I was applied for my naturalization before month ago and i have interview for few weeks so wich version i need to take to learn, 2008 (100questions) or 2020 (128 questions) and if i need to learn 2008 why, did they change rules, couse in previously videos you said that applicants who apply after January 2021 need to learn test 2021?? And jow much questions we can expect, 6 or 12?? Thanks for answer 🙏😊

Hi can you please let me know how long it took for the letter to arrive after the biometrics
@@ramandeepkaur6683 I didn't have to go for the biometrics because they used my fingerprints from the green card. They sent me a letter to let me know that in the same day I applied.
Here are the dates:
October 31, 2021 - N-400 Application. They sent me a letter about the "Biometric Reuse".
March 21, 2022 - I sent them an email to ask if everything was OK with my application.
March 22, 2022 - They answered my email and sent the letter for the interview.
April 19, 2022 - My interview and Oath ceremony in the same day.
It looks like the email with a single question triggered the letter for the interview (or it was a huge coincidence). They sent the letter the next day my email got a response.
It worth a try. I just sent something like:
"I'd like to make sure everything is OK with my application and if I will receive a response via email or only via an official letter".
The interview was super easy because I studied every video in this channel, you don't need anything else... just watch and practice them over and over again and you will be prepared.

@@khalidrecoba9564 I logged into my USCIS account and clicked the "inbox" link. From there you can just ask a question and the system automatically sends the email to the correct address.

hey Ms. Jackie I just wanted to thank you for everything you are doing . I passed my interview today May 24th 2022 at the Los Angeles office and I was approved on the spot and received note for the oaths ceremony right after the interview for tomorrow May 25th 2022.
my timeline is January 14th 2022 application , interview May 24 2022 and oath ceremony May 25th 2022.
