I used to make ice dome cakes very cheaply and easily using vanilla and strawberry ice cream, canned fruit, sponge cake and whipped cream. Nowadays, caramel flavor is also good.
I don't know why but partly melted ice cream seems so much more satisfying. I kept hoping you'd eat the piece on the side because it was softer! I like the metal spoon better. So happy to see so much ice cream lately. Thanks Vic.
