That was an OUTSTANDING analysis and commentary. We have a G3 Hemi swap project going on right now on our 68 Barracuda. You hit the highlights and nailed it on the comparisons.
I'm just going to throw this out there and maybe I'll get lucky with some help. I have a 1971 roadrunner 440 6 pack with the super pack option. This car was show room original from Houston. I haven't driven it for about 10 years. I was parked in a big parking lot and parked it far away from other vehicles. When I came out of the store I noticed that someone with I'm assuming was a plow, took out the back part of the passenger door and the rear quarter. I'm in Massachusetts (north central) and I need some names of shops that people trust and can take on a job like this. Let me know, thanks everyone 😊
I'm stroking my 5.9 to 408 cubic inches to put in my '72 Plymouth. My rotating assembly should be over built enough that I can add some boost later if I feel it needs to. When looking through all the forums, it looks like the 5.9's should be good below 600hp without too much worry, which I should be comfortably below that range. I couldn't tell what you were building back there, is it a Plymouth or a Dodge?
That sounds sweet man! That is a 71 demon in the background, I am currently working on my d150 project it has a 5.9 magnum in it that will be getting some boost later. The demon will be getting a gen 3 hemi but I probably won't start on that project for a little while. There's a few other projects that I will be helping my dad with that should be on this channel in the near future involving a 440 and another 5.9 magnum. There should be a "d150 build" Playlist under my channel name if your interested in the 5.9 magnum that's in my d150 currently.
@timbamler8964 Yea they are all good options. I have a 440 collecting dust right now, hopefully in the future I can throw it in another project car or truck. Definitly will do a build series on that as well whenever the time comes.
