I don't remember much about this episode except that they first claimed they wanted the real story (imperfect kids) and later decided they were too imperfect so she changed it so that they were practically angels, then they changed their minds again. I totally forgot that Mike had no clue Carol had ever chatted with Mr. Dellafield at the party about a blended family magazine story.
But Mr Dellafield supposedly made it clear that his invitation for her submission was a "speculative venture".
