I took my MSF course on a tw. As soon as I saw it, I knew it was cool and snagged it; others didn’t understand why I wanted it. That’s when I realized I was smarter than most people.
Absolutely bro. The thing surprisingly rips. Fun to rip around on. Mac has been loving every second of it
Exactly!!
Seems like I never like what most others do.
I've always wondered why so many people seem to have to follow the pack.
Screw all and be yourself.
It's way easier!!
Awesome motorcycle!!
I got my TW200 in 1989 and I am still riding it. Getting ready to rebuild the carb after 33 + years. If you live in Indy you should take your TW to Linton Indiana and ride the RED Bird off road area, since you have plates on your TW you wont have to pay a fee to ride. I have lived in Bloomington 27- years and love to ride out in Hoosier National forest on the gravel roads . hope to see you out and about some time.
awesome dude! I love hearing that the TW can last that long. keep running her. haven't been to Redbird yet but most certainly plan to. seems like a fun place! -Nick
The commentary is great!.
And recorded/sounds like a video game.
This is awesome!
thanks so much dude. we strive to make it interactive and enjoyable to listen to! -Nick
Great video guys! I love the TW 200 and your KLX 250 pretty awesome looking bike!
thanks dude! they are both so fun to ride around on! thanks for the love bro
I like the video. It’s fun getting out to explore. Keep them coming.
thanks man will do! glad you enjoy them
I have a Honda Fat Cat fron the 80's. Love it. A new yamaha 200 would be rad.
dude that's awesome! Those Fat Cats are RAD! -Nick
Pretty cool riding spots, and bikes.
thanks E! we have been having an absolute blast. thanks for checking out our vids for real. Hope you have a kick ass day!
I been wanting a TW so bad. I have a new 300 Rally, and I still want a TW. I just can’t seem to locate a decent deal anywhere near my location. Two popped up over a years time. One was the first year they were introduced and it was ridden pretty hard, and they wanted way too much for it. The second one didn’t have a title. So, I’m still searching. I’d prefer a 2000 or newer. Anyone close to Louisiana looking to sell one, please let me know!
dude I have definitely heard they can be hard to find and get. Mac I think bought his right away when it showed up on Facebook marketplace.
@@urbexcross yeah Facebook seems like the spot to keep an eye out on....
@@airadaimagery692 absolutely dude good luck.
I literally have the exact same story. I have a 300 L brand new 2022 and I want a TW again to go with it. All of a sudden for whatever reason in this bikes 30 plus year history everybody thinks they're made of solid gold and worth msrp no matter how old and used they are. I hate people. Somebody needs to tell these morons covid pricing is no longer a thing.
Got mine last year by getting on a dealers list. Used. List price. No markup because it was a couple years old & had 180 miles on it.
dude heckkkk yeah. how do you like it Rene???? what type of stuff do you ride it on?
@@urbexcross Mostly on my hilly land. Its a hoot. My XR250R is a beast compared to the TW. Gas goes outta sight, Ima be on it a lot. I own a grapple skidder & have good trails.👍
@@Rene-up1dl that sounds awesome dude! jealous. where you out of?!
@@urbexcross NE washington. Almost Canada. Almost Idaho. My land faces due south. Snows already gone.
@@Rene-up1dl nice! some great riding up there I bet. only been up there once. beautiful area.
I currently have a hawk 250 enduro. So many things rattled loose I had 3-4 accidents thankfully nothing serious. But I want a TW did the simple fact that I like cruise at the age of 30 I don’t want to be a speed demon anymore
Dang! Glad you're alright! How did you like the Hawk 250?
The TW is hilarious and fun. Not too comfy standing up, but you can get away with sitting on that thing more often anyways. Fun bike fosho.
@@urbexcross I like it honestly if I had of came across this channel earlier I would’ve made a different decision more informed especially with maintenance. City of Chicago and speed bumps are unforgiving especially pot holes 😭 TW seems more fit for cruising I’m done being a speed demon
@@ThatsBroFromChicago heck yeah I feel that! Pot hole central here in Indiana as well. LOL. TW handles it well and also can still do like 70mph if needbe. It's a cool thing. I love my KLX250 personally. Perfect bike for me rn. - Nick
rider on the tdub - how tall are you? im 6ft, have had every adv and dual sport bike you could think of but never a tw200. i plan to get one very soon. trying to figure out how much i need to raise the handlebars so i can stand
hey Josh! Mac is probably in the 5ft 8in- 5ft 10in height. it fits his frame well in my opinion. my KLX250 definitely sits a little bit higher. I am about 5ft 7in I'd say (Nick) I think his T-Dub has risers as well on the handlebars too. he didn't seem to be struggling to stand with it I don't think. what bikes have you had in the past/ now?
THE GOAT
The Tdub is a champ!
How are you recording the both of you through intercoms?
we both have DJI osmo Action 3's as well as DJI mics, and I grab the footage from his camera and mine, and I slice/edit it together. it's not the best way to do it.
still trying to find our best method. hope it sounds okay!
@@urbexcross oh yes, sounds great.
@@airadaimagery692 awesome! hope you enjoy the videos ☺️ new one coming next week!
Tdub rules!
It's sick!!!!
Chester PA?
Indiana!
Unless the last owner did something to it to index the front end you probably have bad steering bearings. The TWs are kinda known for it, Get some Ape Racing or Tusk bearings (top and bottom). Don't use OEM. I had to do it on my '99 at about the same mileage.
good to know! I will share this info with Mac! thanks dude 🤘
Just avoid Chinese bearings and you should b good.
@@grooviefan good point
@@urbexcross lots of quality bearing brands, new departure, NTT, SKF, a number of German brands too. Cost difference isn’t worth to cheap out !!!
@@grooviefan Absolutely! Good info to have. I'll let Mac know.
I ❤my T-Dub.
the best! Mac loves it.
Does anyone know any real difference between tw200 and Suzuki rv200. Van van's are easier to find.
I think just the knobbies and plastics. The Van Van round head light is sexier imo.
The prices they want for this bike now is just a joke. I paid $4K otd off the showroom floor in 2008 for one and now they want $5K+ new or used. Its not a $5k bike in any way, idc how pop its become. Made a huge mistake when I sold mine for 2k a few years later with as many miles on it..
yeah the market got gnarly for these haha. at least if they could kind of modernize the look at least? ya know haha fun bike tho
