First longsword training in 2025

2.88 kg seems reallyyyy heavy compared to most longswords, more like a greatsword. Is it a deliberately heavier training replica?

It is 2 times heavier than a long sword of comparable sizes (1300-1450), I looked at the characteristics of swords on Blackfencer, they have an greatsword for sale, with a length of 165+ it weighs 2600
This sword not a training replica, a blacksmith I know decided to make a sword without knowing how to make swords.
