ACA Allertor 125 Siren Test - Full Alert - Hammond, Wisconsin

I believe this serves as sufficient proof that I did not go to Hudson for the St. Croix County test this month. If you know, you know. Anyway, Asa and I decided to risk doing this Allertor in Hammond today to continue our quest of hearing all of the old sirens in SCC (and because it had been over a year since I had heard one). The county (surprisingly) toned the sirens out bang on time this month. Quadrant two came first, followed by quadrants one, three, and four. The Allertor successfully activated on the first activation strand it received during the quadrant one tone out, and the timer was reset when it received the second tone out during quadrant four, which is why this runs for a little longer than three minutes. Only the sirens in the cities of Hammond and Deer Park do this, as they are the only two cities in more than one quadrant. This was my first time hearing a reverse wired Allertor, and I have to say, I was not impressed. It definitely was not quiet, but it does not even compare to the two correctly wired Allertors I have heard in the past. You can hear the city’s 2001-SRNB throughout the test, which I assume is at or near the original location of this Allertor, but I am not certain. Thank you for watching, and enjoy!

Hammond has three sirens. This Allertor, a 2001-SRNB at Klein and Park, and a 2001-SRN near Guy Metals and Ridgeway.
