  • *UPDATE*
As mentioned in the end of the video, when initially installing the rain guard/window visors, window has slightly difficulty rolling up to shut, after a while it will go away and close like normal, just thought I’d let anyone know who is curious, great product, no issues at all.

Wish I had seen your video before I purchased mine. The included instructions stated to start the install from the rear position, but in doing so it is virtually impossible to get the front portion into the window groove, so I ended up doing it like you did. I have manual windows and notice resistance on the last half inch of reaching the top, like you showed. I tried wiggling the visor around and holding the visor outwards as the window comes up but no difference. I just do not like forcing the window up for the final closure. The resistance is in the rear portion of the window and visor. How have yours held up since December? I too, left the sticky tape on, in the even I decide to remove the visor and get another brand. Good video.
P.S. just read the description and saw that your updated stated that the resistance goes away. Great! Probably because the rubber becomes compressed eventually and does not spring back. I will give it a try. Thanks.

They’re great, holding up just fine! Windows open and close like before I had them installed, and yes don’t know why the instructions say start from the rear is more difficult and easier to break that way
