Those 3 problems you found in the manual are definitely a possibility. That pressure tube can split too. All not to bad to fix just takes a little time. I got busy today and didn’t have a chance to get any pictures for you. Headed back to the shop later this evening I’ll try to get some for you.
Looks like it time to start turning some wrenches and take it apart to find your leaking fluid pressure!!! It's not going to fix itself!!! You're going to have to start taking it apart and see what is wrong because the answer isn't up top and won't be found by any other way than some good old fashioned wrench turning!!! Remember, you can't mess it up any more than it is!!! I have faith in you that you can find the answer, but it's up to you to find it!!! Now go getter done and Keep Rocking!!!
Thanks Sarge, I Needed That Pep Talk! As a Rule, I don't like Opening up a Can of Worms unless I'm on My Boat Fishing but You're Absolutely Right, Gotta Get'R Dun.... Besides, I already have several guys lined up for the Parts, so it's a Win, Win either way!
Yeah , or split it set the SOS on a pallet and send it to Aurthurs. The seal kits are no longer available, but you can get the seals if you have a specialist that knows how to measure the old orings and name their replacements. Aurthurs have a test stand and run in every rebuilt unit.
I have a 800 series select o speed. It sat for a long time. Got it running and the transmission works. But should I do somethings to it before I use it constantly?
I would NOT advise you to do anything to it. I have heard of several guys who had no trouble UNTIL they changed the Fluids! As they say "If it ain't Broken Don't Fix it"
@@MrDanoconnor thank you! I got one with all options, 703 ford full size industrial loader! Love it. Bought it on terrible condition and got it running
They didn’t make a SOS on the 800 series. Do you have a 1 series? 801? Anyone will tell you the key to SOS longevity is maintaining your fluid, using the correct fluid, servicing your filter regularly.
