I've seen like three reaction channels that aren't in the US and all of them get shocked when he has to pay $500 for the basketball team. This is pretty normal in the states to have to pay up front for a new jersey, shoes, and accessories like team socks, arm sleeves etc. This just means that instead of everyone buying different things, the school provides everyone the same things so they look like a team.
