And thanks to you I now have one heading my way. Found a nice example on fleabay and hit the buy now. Thanks 😆 That and a really nice jigged bone Case tiny toothpick are my from me Christmas presents this year.
@@ThriftyKaniffythe knife arrived today, totally happy with it, but I wasn’t paying attention to the knife and got a chineese made knife. Very nice fit and finish, probably the best if the chi-com knives I have. Better (gapping wise) then most of my US made knives. Go figure 🤷♂️ After the dust settles from Christmas spending I will search for a US made knife. Still happy with my purchase as it is residing in my pocket with a new leather slip as we speak.
A beautiful classic Old Timer. Looks brand new. The 61OT is a new model for me. Thanks for an excellent review and history on this knife. Have a great Friday TK! Cheers, RW
To see such quality and workmanship on what was once considered an affordable " using " knife , illustrates the mediocrity we have grown to accept today . Great review . 👍 . ✌.

The name and your name reminded me of lol HERE’S JONNY ! Jonny Carson lol your probably to young to remember the old actor / tv host in his older years. This new old stock is something that it’s really hard to find nowadays. Thank you for sharing this with us. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY 😊😊😊😊😊😊
No I remember Carson quite well, probably older than you think. He and Ed McMahon. Ol Ed never let me win the Sweepstakes try as I might. Thanks, Watch City.
Very obvious the American for over the Chinese Its like a fake rolex wearer that a real rolex wearer can spot a rank fake across a room. Excellent review. Tremendous knife.
The 61 is one of my faves. Yours has some of the best looking sawcut delrin handles I've seen.
Thanks very much WV. I got lucky in finding such a clean example.
These were contracted out to Camillus. You can see the pins through the bolsters. Normal old timers weren’t made that way. Excellent knives.
Good to know thanks, Tony.
This would also account for the fact the blades are stainless steel but no + on the tang stamp
Another beautiful old knife. Incredible shape. Thanks for bringing it to us. 😊
She's in real nice condition. A great addition to the collection. Thanks for having a look, Michael.

They are both a lot of fun to own, especially an older USA made. Thanks, FM.
