To me, Spiritbox is a band insanely inspired by the Deftones. They can come with the aggressive style or a beautiful slower, melodic track. Obviously Spiritbox sounds more metalcore, I guess you can call it, with their heavier sounds, but I love the diversity. Fantastic band. Insanely talented.

FACTS! Trust Falls was the 1st song we ever heard from Spiritbox and it floored us! We immediatley thought of the Deftones and we fell in love with Spiritbox ever since

Dylan is the guy who shot and directed this video, and he gad the insane idea of a single continuous shot, and executed it to perfection. He had previously shot their videos for Constance, Blessed Be, and Hurt You.
This EP is the intended concept of what they wanted this band to be from the get go, but had to build up to it. The better way to think of this release is as one long song, as it’s all a singular story, and each song bleeds into the next. There’s repeating lines in different songs, which is a classic concept album thing, and they execute that so well.
All Spiritbox songs are great to me, whether they are heavy or not... Also, can you react to Crypta - From The Ashes? (All-female Brazilian death metal band). 🔥♥

This video is one continuous shot which is pretty cool
The heavy tracks are fun and the vibey tracks are catchy, but Spiritbox is at their best when they combine them in a single song. I think separating it works ok in this EP though since it's written as one whole concept and the songs fade into each other. Speaking of recognition, Jaded was nominated for 2 grammy awards.

Every Spiritbox song has the potential to stick in my head, but the different styles they've gone into since Eternal Blue mean not every track will completely click for me. I come away from this one wishing it was longer.
