The 556 gun that is used and zeroed at 100 has a BDC reticle that recommends 100 to set the bdc, the rifle shown in the actual zeroing portion of the video is a HK 762A1 in 308 and we choice that distance cause it’s a entry level class and 100 is a easy yard line to show the zeroing process. You can zero at 200 or even 300 as long as you know your data for the different yard lines doesn’t really matter. Hope that helped

Curious why you would zero a precision gasser at 100m and not 200m. I know it's the most common but it's not the most logical for 5.56
