- We went to the Rod Fai Night Market (Train Market) in Bangkok, Thailand to eat Thai street food and we were not disappointed! This was one of the best night markets we have been to in a while and we enjoyed eating Thai street food.
About the Rod Fai Night Market:
Rot Fai Market (Train Market) in Bangkok is an authentic open-air bazaar selling an incredible array of vintage collectibles and memorabilia from yesteryear, from antique furniture to hippy fashion and Mao kitsch.
With three sections to this huge market space, there are also many traders selling modern fashion and apparel more typical of other night markets in Bangkok; however it’s the one-off and hard to find items that really make Rot Fai Market superior to all other night markets in the city.
Where else in the Thailand would you find a pristine 1950's Cadillac next to vintage leather jackets, French chandeliers and 1960's action figures from Japan? Combine all this with cool restaurants, bars and snack stalls and you have a fun night out from sunset to midnight, Thursday to Sunday.

That’s not Moo Yang. It is Moo Tod. Moo means pork, Yang means grill, Tod means deep fry.

Yvonne like Mango and Sticky rice, but yes next time we will have to try the Moo Yang and sticky rice. Just too much good Thai food. So many things to try and eat. :)

Yes, many of the local markets have good street food! We love visiting Thailand, but it seems to only be for a week or two each time. Maybe in the future, we will spend more time and see more markets. :)

Visit chiangmai you must try local menu like khaosoi, northern spicysausage and many local dessert you cant go wrong.

Yes, we really like Thai food. Yvonne likes curries with coconut and Miguel likes a lot of things, including Pad Thai and BBQ, but overall we like most of the Thai dishes. :)
