Not looking for comittment because I don't expect anyone to want it. It isn't that I want to be unattached, it's that I don't want to become attached and then be dropped like a hot rock. Also, I don't know where anyone else is intentions wise so I don't want to get my hopes up and then have them shattered when someone changes their mind or we find we don't click. This is why I am firmly staying an apple. I don't know that they actually want me. You have to talk directly to one another and speak about feelings to know for sure that this is legit and real and has real potential.
If actually interested, then their next move should be reaching out directly. It actually makes me feel unsure about everything going this route instead of just talking to me. It makes me question their motives when they supposedly want to be in my life in a committed relationship and all that, but won't reach out. Without a prior committment like a child, this manner of communicating without direct interactions is nerve wrecking. I refuse to decide anything before a real one on one conversation is had...I mean seriously. That fear this person doesn't actually want me to feel is only heightened by the lack of contact. It starts to feel unreal or like a lie I am telling myself. Perhaps it is an intentional misdirection or even a trap I start to think over time where there is no direct contact. That makes me want to detatch completely from even readings for fun. Direct contact would fix that, but that doesn't appear to be happening.
I don't believe in testing people and playing games. I try very hard to ask for the minimum. If anything extra comes, then it's a bonus or a gift. This keeps me appreciative for whatever comes my way, reduces my heartbreak when things go astray, and makes sure I stay humble. Plus asking for extra can make people feel over burdened in their life. I don't want to over burden anyone.

I am in the process of ending something with a friend's with benefits where there really hasn't been any benefits for a while.
